Don't see this as me dunking on you btw, This is something the devs should have fixed back when they were working on the game, but its quite funny how they made a bunch of animations like this, where the sight was slighty off where it should be, so people like you (and thx for the work, I used it a lot when I used to play Vanilla) will break the game just to fix this visual bug.

Btw I only know this because I started to Mod the game, and I know enough to know the way to fix this is by making proper weapon animations.

@♛Supra♛ Hey man, sorry for the super late response, I really don't have time to do this stuff anymore haha, but I tried to toy around with it, and it seems that the files in the mod are independent of graphics settings, so I'm not sure how to change it to target low settings specifically. sorry dude, hope you found a solution.
SV*  [tekijä] 17.3.2019 klo 20.14
@LiL Peep Since this is a rather older mod, it would download into your legacy folder, but are you sure it doesn't work? From what I've seen, mods that go into the legacy bin still work. I haven't played insurgency in quite a while so I don't remember too well about this.
SV*  [tekijä] 17.3.2019 klo 20.13
@WolfeYankee haha, thanks for letting me! That's pretty funny!
SV*  [tekijä] 17.3.2019 klo 20.13
@lee scott possessed by eminem Unfortunately, no, this comes as a whole package :(
WolfeYankee 11.3.2019 klo 12.02
FYI it's reticle and not reticule. A reticule is a small women's handbag.
Illegal Cage Fighting 31.7.2018 klo 21.30
Is there an option that JUST fixes alignment? I use other reticles due to a model change on the kobra.
LiL Peep 17.5.2018 klo 16.43
This wont download its just legacy bin in my workshop files
The Hoopty 24.4.2018 klo 15.22
@New Dawn Approves cuz i play on a low end piece of ♥♥♥♥ laptop. lol xd
New Dawn Approves 23.4.2018 klo 19.29
@EatThat♥♥♥♥♥445 Why dont you try turning your scope quality to high and the everything else on low? That way when you're ads you can see clearly now that the aids is gone.:dummy:
The Hoopty 31.3.2018 klo 9.35
@SV* no problem man.
SV*  [tekijä] 30.3.2018 klo 20.13
@EatThat♥♥♥♥♥445 Yeah I'll look into it, thanks for letting me know
The Hoopty 13.3.2018 klo 19.28

SV*  [tekijä] 31.1.2018 klo 8.41
@Fylix Aerou whoops. Thanks for letting me know :p
Fylix Birb 30.1.2018 klo 15.03
Thank you so much! Also you should switch those links around.

Quirkless 20.1.2018 klo 15.49
Please let me know too! I've been looking for an only Kobra version. Thanks a lot for this.
Fylix Birb 16.1.2018 klo 13.53
Cool! Thanks a ton. :D Just lemme know.
SV*  [tekijä] 14.1.2018 klo 12.40
@Fylix Aerou sure thing, I'll give you a link once I do make one.
Fylix Birb 9.1.2018 klo 23.21
Any chance you would release the eotech reticle seperately?
Ashley 6.4.2017 klo 15.40
This mod is great, thanks! :steamhappy:
Rawse 23.3.2017 klo 15.41
Okay thanks for the info
SV*  [tekijä] 19.2.2017 klo 20.40
@Rawse I've gotten like 2 requests to clear it up for night vision, so eventually, if I do get the time, I guess I'll do it. But don't count on it... another guy who made a request 1.5 years ago finally got what he wanted hahaha. But I didn't touch the NV reticules in terms of brightness or bloom mainly because of realism, I didn't want them to seem too crisp.
Rawse 19.2.2017 klo 12.24
I noticed on all maps that when you were in the open and looked around the reticule seemed dim and hard to see, but in dark rooms and shadows it had its normal brightness. Also, do you maybe mind one day cleaning up the red dot and 2x red dot so it will be better for night vision. thanks
SV*  [tekijä] 18.2.2017 klo 17.49
@Rawse I didn't make any changes to the brightness of the reticules, I only made them closer together. I never found them any dimmer than the original... Under what circumstances do they look dimmer?
Rawse 18.2.2017 klo 7.56
Can you make the kobra brighter like the default kobra? It seems a little too dim
SV*  [tekijä] 30.1.2017 klo 20.26
@Ænima no, unfortunately. It will replace the custom reticles.
Nima 4.10.2016 klo 4.53
Will this work with custom reticles?
CapoFantasma97 23.6.2016 klo 14.16
Do other crosshairs (the magnified scopes) also have this issue?
Baltimore 26.3.2016 klo 16.36
thanks
SV*  [tekijä] 20.2.2016 klo 20.02
@Rymd LOL okay then. Yeah, the models are slightly misalined. The default sights are misaligned from the front post but it's actually where the bullet will go. It's literally 2 pixel difference but it pisses the sh*t out of me so I had to make this mod
Rymd 20.2.2016 klo 0.33
I have FINALLY know whats the problem after literally nearly a year, It's the gun that's misaglined. not the optics.
Cue Ball Jamal 18.6.2015 klo 5.46
Best Mod for someone w/ OCD
Rymd 17.6.2015 klo 5.12
Does this work with other reticles ? Like a red chevron for kobra ? Also can you make it a little bit less brighter while in NVG.
Kaiиe 27.5.2015 klo 7.48
Thanks for this. The slight misalignment was bugging me to no end.
SV*  [tekijä] 14.5.2015 klo 19.47
@Yang Xiao Long Maybe something is off in your settings or your monitor/disply? I didn't change the colour or the saturation of the reticules at all. I only changed the size and aligned the reticule to the front post of the iron sight.
Sterling 14.5.2015 klo 18.48
Is it just me or the new reticles look less solid and darker? It really pisses me off to see the optics unaligned, but I can't see my reticle well when aiming at a light surface.
SV*  [tekijä] 14.4.2015 klo 14.41
@CLaytonmachine1 alright, i see.
~S9~ CLaytonmachine1 13.4.2015 klo 18.13
and despite what a lot of people think, as far asd I know, only SF units carry personal weapons, BUT you can get a mandate signed by your company commander that will allow you to put a more preffered sight on the weapon, so as long as the CO is OK with it, you can use your own sigh(you can put it on at the range without the mandate, but you wont be able to qual with it, unless theres enough ammo left over and whoevers in charge of range detail is fine with it, this is due to it no longer beeing a permanately afixed sight cause youd have to take it off again as soon as you turn it in at the armory)
~S9~ CLaytonmachine1 13.4.2015 klo 18.09
well to me I didnt really see any differecne between the 3 and 4, and I prefer my EO tech over the aimpoints due to the fact that I have a drop dot bellow the aiming dot, allowing me to better judge the drop at range
SV*  [tekijä] 13.4.2015 klo 18.04
@CLaytonmachine And how was the comp m4 compared to the 3? And were you saying that you were interested in getting your eotech on your gun? I must ask, which do you prefer? Eo or the aimpoint?
~S9~ CLaytonmachine1 13.4.2015 klo 17.38
some infantry units might be using Comp 4's, but my unit still has the Comp 3's, in basaic during advaanced optics we used Comp4s though
SV*  [tekijä] 13.4.2015 klo 13.30
@CLaytonmachine1 Ahhhhhhh, i see, i thought you were talking about the comp m4 which mounts via an actual rail mount. Yeah that explains a lot, so you were using a comp m2/3? And no, i have never touched an aimpoint. I don't own a firearm.
~S9~ CLaytonmachine1 11.4.2015 klo 21.53
uhh, have you ever messed with an aimpoint?, the sight itself is mounted via a normal scope mount, meaning there us a u shaped platform that it rests in, and another that screws on the top, this keeps it secured, it was placed in this cradle upside down, so the battery case was on the left, well technicaly it was sidways about 90 degrees, thats actualy howw he messed mine up, its missing 2 of the cradle screws
SV*  [tekijä] 11.4.2015 klo 19.40
@CLaytonmachine1 lolololol how dafuq do they manage to mount an optic upside down? It attaches to the rail only one way and the mount for the aimpoint attaches on only one side of the aimpoint?!?!?!?!?!?!????????????????????????????????????!?!?!?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!??!?!?!?!?!?!
~S9~ CLaytonmachine1 11.4.2015 klo 17.03
It was actualy pretty funny, cause he also put one of second platoons Aimpoints on upside down, and half the day theyre sitting there wondering why it wouldnt zero, priceless
~S9~ CLaytonmachine1 11.4.2015 klo 17.01
well ive never used my irons to sight in my Red Dot, hell even when I did my first weapons qual at my unit I didnt sight in the irons, I, no one did. the only time I zeroed my irons was when the armorer broke my damn Aimpoint, now Im waiting on a mandate to get signed so I can just leave my EO tech on it
SV*  [tekijä] 11.4.2015 klo 15.43
@CLaytonmachine1 I see what you mean,, but from what I've seen, you would first zero the irons then just drop the reticule of the sight directly on top of the front post. I don't own an AR but this is what I've seen from people who do. Anyway, this is a videogame and this is mainly for curing people's "OCD" and also to make it look tidier.
~S9~ CLaytonmachine1 11.4.2015 klo 13.50
Im just gonna have to play devils advocate here, cause Ive been seeing this alot, you dont actualy alignt the dot with the front sight post when zeroing a red dot or holographic, now to factory set it, BEFORE sighting, most usualy place it right over the front sight post, but it doesnt actualy stay there
