Maybe it's a little bit late, but delete first eight bytes of mod with hex editor may fix crash.

sadly it still crashes the game of starting up.

would you buff the cimmerian axemens melee defence a little bit? They seem to get beaten quite easily because of it i think its 46 at the moment which is quite low for a melee unit

Just mentioning that it isnt working for me either, which is too bad as this mod looks very well done!

Played your other mod, Maf's Faction Unlock Mod, which is awesome (top 5 mod according to me) but has no use of the factions in the campaign though. So I tried this mod, but sadly it freezed the game at start up. Just wanted to ask if you have made any progress with this problem and if so it would be nice to have the chance to play it. Thanks

Maffers, I have two requests for you. Could you please update the all of the faction unlock mods and make a compilation of all your unit mods. Great work by the way, on all of your mods.

This freezes the game at start up.. Which is a big shame. Even without other mods.

@Night: You could also try deleting the mod and then redownloading it. Sometimes steam messes up when it downloads and the file gets corrupted.

@maffers: I tried unticking all the modders, just ticked this mod and it still crashed at startup. But if it is working for everyone else, it is obviously something on my end. I will keep trying to find the issue. It used to work before, now I don't know what suddenly happened.

Btw, thanks maffers, great work on these mods, specially liked the units for the Bastarnae and the persia factions. The "immortals" really look like the sparabara kind of units fitting that time and place, cheers!

I was going to subscribe to this until I read that you added units to playable factions as well(Cimmeria, Armenia, Massilia). I already have a unit mod for all the playable factions and this mod would make it unbalanced. I thought that this mod was only for those factins which are unplayable (as all of the playable factions are listed in the files as "major" factions.)

I like the idea of this mod because it adds variety to those minor factions that CA gave no love to but by subscribing to this mod, it would make the playable factions unbalanced for me.

I only say this not to complain or bash your work, but because I love your mods and think you're very talented and just want to give some constructive criticism.
