I've finally found the time to troubleshoot things.
Its fixed.

Update is coming, the description reflects what will be here whenever I fix CA's goofyness, I come back and check and the CA uploader is throwing errors at me when I click upload

Turns out, even after 9 years, CA's uploader is still an obstacle preventing me from doing anything.

Ah yes thank you

I think this one only alters a stub of one table (Not overwritting, just altering,) but it could be that another mode alters the same lines, and loads after this one.

(Most creation kit mods are going to overwrite eveythign you run them with, for example.)

cant combine it with the Viking mod for some reason :(

This mod has never needed an update.

I believe 80% of a ported fleets costs are redeemed, and 95% of a raiding fleet?

Does this play nice with radious? How can i tell if the mod is active? how much does income decrease/increase with fleets in and out of port?

Copied it over to the Atilla folder and playing with it now - works a treat, thanks.
Slikarstvo 13 DIC 2016 a las 14:15
Thanks, will try that now...
WalrusJones  [autor] 13 DIC 2016 a las 7:13
Heheheh.

If you open it up in PFM, you will see this mod is just two lines.
Slikarstvo 13 DIC 2016 a las 6:13
Ah, do you know which one? Would you consider also creating an Atilla version if it's quick and easy?
WalrusJones  [autor] 12 DIC 2016 a las 15:02
I believe I integrated this into one of my other mods.
Slikarstvo 12 DIC 2016 a las 13:01
Hi! This is one of my favourite mods for Rome II - are you planning on an Atilla release?
WalrusJones  [autor] 18 ENE 2016 a las 13:39
I like to think thats my approach to all modding, even my overhaul in a later title took that approach.
VampiricHitman 18 ENE 2016 a las 13:36
This is such a simple and subtle change but one that makes perfect sense. I frankly cant believe no one has really done this before. Nice job

Could you make it so its always reduced cost?
WalrusJones  [autor] 30 ABR 2015 a las 14:41
That was the point, docking and raiding are good at minimizing the cost of your fleet.
Jaki 30 ABR 2015 a las 12:56
I only get reduced cost when docked, when I go on the sea I go back up to the regular upkeep.

Simply, but brilliant, mod!

I can now actually use my navies strategically.

I would also be in favor of a similar mod for armies (although not as drastic), to reflect the reduced costs for an army quartered for a period of time in a city.

Bravo!

The English seems most satisfactory to me ?
Khardazuko 16 ENE 2015 a las 8:43
bruh, what's with the english
Sebidee 15 ENE 2015 a las 17:57
Good ideas, I always found navies were more of a burden than anything else.

When I brought this up, a lot of people actually had one of those "Doh! Why didn't I think of this," moments.

I think this is an example of out of the box thinking, and two lines of code that really made a massive positive change in game.

Very welcomed mod; and pretty realistic; navies on port are a lot less costly of-course. I just wondering when a ''supermod'' like something of DEI with all of this tiny but required mods....to not have scores of them loaded via Mod manager....
WalrusJones  [autor] 11 ENE 2015 a las 21:43
It also makes raiding reduce the upkeep enough that it *Can* be profitable, the thing is, however, that you must research some military tech for this to be the case.
Nickelob Ultra 11 ENE 2015 a las 21:27
So this essentially makes it less upkeep to keep navies in ports? This is brilliant actually, because most naval units are just too expensive to warrant keeping unless you already have a high income.
