With no iron your economy is always crap, giving only the basic units and having to buy everything good. Everytime playing this I was stuck with no good units as my enemy who hated me most spammed his typical swordsman with crossbows. Archers aren't so great against that.

You get a slow amount of iron by owning the middle, I can't imagine doing that vs 4 people. After an hour of sitting watching my money basically stuck, only getting income from selling stone, I gave up. I'd never afford siege equipment or weapons/armor. At the end of the game the total iron from all players was 1 guy with 136.

Also playing from the bottom, the mountains to my left got in the way of seeing what that player was sending against me.

So I want to, but I can't recommend this map. If I get permission, I want to edit it to make it with more wood and some iron, but that is up to the creator to give.
