It doesn't change from vanilla. And I didn't see any changes in files I have modified. So maybe it is the same as emperor.

What frame does the new hegemony rank(For China and Rome) above emperor get?

@CoYoT3 Do you do icons? I think a Prowess icon replacement would be cool. GUIX mod did a replacement on theirs and someone else did a Prowess icon replacement within their mod collection.

I always felt the hand on the sword PDX did for CK3 was not that good. CK2 was better.

I will see if it is possible/needed for sure. But I don't plan to buy any DLCs for now so don't expect support for these unless it is super easy to implement.

If I remember correctly, having the heads in over the portraits takes another layer. I think back when game first game out, some modders did both version, because of one disabling achievements, that does not matter anymore.

I believe having the heads behind like in vanilla means, the mod will most likely last for a long time without updates. I am sure some players want the heads in front of the borders so they can see the crowns.

Yeah that is true, I will leave it up, so someone can build up on it.

Having heads going over portraits does not matter for me. Most important is the borders itself.

Yeah the Count and Baron always got me in vanilla. I am older so it is hard to see those differences in vanilla.

@CoYoT3 I agree about the Noble Frames it is a lot. At the time, it was the only one. I only maintained it so I could use it and others, but I don't know how to add the Regent borders. I am probably going to remove my maintained version.

I honestly was using Clear Portrait Borders. I like something closer to vanilla game. Yours looks like something the Devs should have done. I do not get why the Devs only added something simple, while in CK2, they look better.

I made these corner mainly to clearly differentiate Count from Baron. Because that was my main problem with the vanilla portraits.

No, this is better actually. I really like the corners of the frames for counts and dukes being made of the material of the tier above them, representing their ambition. It's very appropriate that the kings do not have purple corners, because emperorship is reserved only to the very few.

You are the maintainer of Noble Frames its a nice portrait mod too with a lot of details (too much for me ^^) I wanted something bigger than vanilla with simpler color and less details than your's.

Do you guys thinks having the head going over the portrait is a good idea ?

This mod is very simple, it doesn't even modify a gui file. It just changes some sprites (.dds) Which make this mod pretty robust to future updates and compatible with any other mod too.
