is there a chance you could ad the narrow bulkhead doorway
AkagiVoid 6 Nov @ 7:17am
TY 4 the confirmation. >w<

I have a few mods dat requires meh and/or my friends 2 have the helmet/s off while in a structure or environment full of O2 4 buffs is the reason I need 2 know, so I don't kill my self or my friends when trying 2 go in2 an environment void of O2 LUL(since perm death will be enabled 4 mar misery). ^w^
humanoid.mp4  [author] 6 Nov @ 7:02am
yes its kinda like that
AkagiVoid 6 Nov @ 7:01am
TY 4 sum clarity. >w<

So by UR explanation, its treated as armor block, where all 4 sides are airtight, although U can still pass through it, while in the block its self it acts as a vacuum of space, so no O2 inside the block its self, is my assumption correct? ?w?
(Dis is critical need 2 know info btw. >w<)
humanoid.mp4  [author] 5 Nov @ 10:16pm
No, the doors as block are fully airtight and don’t let air through
AkagiVoid 5 Nov @ 5:16pm
@humanoid.mp4,
Does dis take up O2? ?w?
Like if both doors are open dan ship's O2 gets vented, or when I open the Inner door dan close it and open the Outer door a small amount of O2 gets vented? ?w?

I'm looking 4 door system dat doesn't vent my O2 in2 space and is compact yet server friendly. >w<

Suggestion: Could U make an alternate version where the inner door (with name plate stating dat side is the inner door) n walls is always airtight regardless if its open or close dat would be very server friendly. ^w^

@humanoid.mp4 "Finally added the narrow door airlock ........"
Brilliant, thank you.
crimson 26 Oct @ 10:53am
@humanoid.mp4 I don't suppose you've added the mirror version airlock of the corridor round door yet, right? cause yeah, that's been a thing since the new update.

though now that I think about it, in game we only have left and right sliding corridor round doors, so... is there a way you can make two models for corridor round airlock doors where one door slide up into the ceiling to open, and another block the door slides down into the floor to open?

if so that'd be fantastic because it'd give more freedom for where you can and can't place the corridor round airlock doors.
humanoid.mp4  [author] 26 Oct @ 4:34am
Finally added the narrow door airlock and fixed various (mostly visual) bugs
Rubber Sword 25 Oct @ 7:12am
@humanoid.mp4 Great mod, which is fast becoming the go-to airlock on all my builds. Any chance of creating a double door airlock of the narrow door from the Signal Pack DLC?
humanoid.mp4  [author] 24 Oct @ 10:02am
No, it's just simple AdvancedDoor block type which plays custom animations for open/close (it's technically one door which opens and closes in a weird way)
Yazeke 24 Oct @ 9:58am
Any possibility that inner / outdoor can be controlled by a sensor independently, so that door that being approached if not open can be trigger to open ? Thanks
Morphy 25 Sep @ 12:36pm
My only complaint is when I'm being chased by a spider or wolf, they pile in and prevent the airlock from cycling-- I'm frantically mashing the button to escape them as they eat my butt, "Let me in! Let me in! Ahhhhh!"
humanoid.mp4  [author] 16 Sep @ 10:12am
oh god
crimson 16 Sep @ 6:03am
@humanoid.mp4 they just added a new variety of door to the game with the new update, it's an inverted round door.
.din.grogu. 31 Jul @ 12:04pm
Additional idea: add a toggle switch in the door configs (similar to the on/off switch) that does a 'lockdown' feature. Essentially, it closes the doors on both sides as a type of deterrent for intruders.
tank_2000_9 21 Jul @ 5:24pm
@Xarian And what is unrealistic about that? It is even more realistic because when you make airlocks you usually make them as small as possible so that no air can be lost. Not to mention that there are also smaller ships that can be built from large grids And it looks a bit strange when you have a large airlock on a small ship

Not to mention that the blog is actually predestined for doing something like that with it since it would have enough space on both sides where you could let the door disappear into it.
But it is up to the mod developer whether he wants to do that or not

The mod developer was kind enough to make a version for a round door
What makes working with round passages definitely easier and above all it looks better
tank_2000_9 21 Jul @ 5:14pm
I wanted to report a bug and that is The double round corridor door Has modeled one of the doors the inside faces outwards The side with the yellow dot should face inwards into the door and not outwards I think it would be possible to solve it by turning the door 180° So that the yellow dot points inwards Because the door has special details and therefore looks a bit strange when the inside is facing outwards and the outside is facing inwards because there are some details that do not match the positions

This is not meant to be a negative criticism, just a comment. I am very satisfied with the mod and am glad that it exists.

@SoulDoubt if you are willing to use unrealistic doors like this, then there are several mods with the same concept, as well as multiple ways of doing this in vanilla (some blocks are inherently airtight but you can walk past them)

And if you want to make a real airlock, you can always add your own vent/conveyor/doors with a couple of event controllers.
SoulDoubt 17 Jun @ 12:59pm
These are a great addition to add variety to my builds after relying solely on nukeguard's Rotary Airlocks for so long.

+1 to adding a Narrow Door version if you're so inclined
Renay Edor 4 Jun @ 1:10pm
Do you think you could do the new DLC Lab Doors? They're not the full block but it'd be really nice to have a seal-able double-door like them that lets us add in our own lights/vents/cargo/etc
kad.dsl 29 May @ 4:34pm
Love this one! I'm using a whole pile of them in my new MotherShip design.

If you're feeling bored one evening though.... I'd love to have one of these in a Narrow Door version. :)

Again that common lament from players: Why isn't this in the base game?!?
Thank you for this!
bigfootv 24 May @ 9:04am
Just giving a heads-up for those who have Isy's Simple Door script, that these door do work with that script.
Have a nice weekend. :steamhappy:
Sanka 9 May @ 11:08am
Would be cool if it had an air-vent and light.
TheSlaveOne 6 May @ 1:06pm
I just checked. Fixed. :selike:
humanoid.mp4  [author] 6 May @ 12:25pm
should be fixed now
TheSlaveOne 6 May @ 3:52am
@humanoid.mp4 - I was on high. Zooming out looks like LOD1 and Others switch to correct textures.
humanoid.mp4  [author] 6 May @ 3:40am
Is that issue on mid/low graphics settings or only on high?
TheSlaveOne 5 May @ 7:51pm
@humanoid.mp4 - I had a mod request for a Corridor Round Airlock. I saw you already had one so I told them about your mod. with the Double Corridor Round Doors.

There seems to be a Texture issue with the Double Corridor Round Airlock. I think might have a messed up UV. It is on both sides where the doors are. Great Mod. Subcribed++ :selike:
Mercury 1 May @ 12:27pm
Should be vanilla. Great job and congrats on spotlight feature.
CosmicAggressor 1 May @ 7:26am
This should go great with the docking ports from last month's spotlight.
ANONYME 20 Apr @ 5:22am
Simple, effective, updoot delivered
@humanoid.mp4
hmm, from my point of understanding the smallest possible airlock in vanilla would be 2 block long with 2 doors directly behing each other which in turn would mean a 2 block length airlock with 2 doors would fit it.
i understand that it would mean some work to do and it might not be possible for one reason or another.

thanks for giving a feedback/answer on the requests i put forward.
humanoid.mp4  [author] 11 Apr @ 9:40am
1. This mod is supposed to create airlocks which are as close to vanilla airlocks as possible, It will not include the fully custom ones
2. no, it's a game limitation (doors can only have one open and one close animation, nothing inbetween)
Abisius Xarvenius Carbensius 10 Apr @ 10:15am
@humanoid.mp4
id like to put forward 2 requests:

1. could we maybee get some bigger variants?
something like 2 or 3 blocks length would be nice to faciliate the passage of multiple engineers at once.

2. could we get an override to fully open it?
atm i use a normal door as a bypass door in case i am basically just running back and forth or want to use outside air to be pulled in and further used.

while the first one would be something very helpfull for coop and on servers for grids used by multiple players the second one is more of a qol request.
GryffintheBaron 5 Apr @ 1:48pm
oh sweet, i'd actually be able to have better airlocks instead of putting two sliding doors back to back
humanoid.mp4  [author] 2 Apr @ 10:10pm
Perhaps
r4v1n6 2 Apr @ 2:48pm
This is a great mod, thank you. It's the simplest and most sane solution for airlock issues that I have come across apart from the rotary airlock mod.

Is the Narrow Door also being considered?
PaladinDrake 2 Apr @ 10:02am
I love this so much. This feels much more realistic than any of the airtight opening doors, and even than the rotary airlock (which works well). Why isn't this vanilla? Immediate sub.
Rubber Sword 1 Apr @ 6:06pm
Love it. Thank you
Rizzo 1 Apr @ 5:42pm
Yeah, this one is great because it actually works in a realistic way.
humanoid.mp4  [author] 1 Apr @ 10:54am
Yeah, but my doors act like double door airlocks since they have 2 doors instead of 1 door, not just fully airtight vanilla single-door doors
Sander Hydra 1 Apr @ 9:01am
there already is a working mod like this ....
GAMEtatron 1 Apr @ 7:50am
This should be vanilla.
Mircea The Young 1 Apr @ 3:39am
Kinda silly how these doors lend themselves so well to this sort of thing and yet Keen never did this.
Roboman5e15YT 30 Mar @ 4:16pm
cool a more vanilla looking airlock door mod
