anything you can do to fix the immune to shoving crouching/ducking infected? would be sick, this ♥♥♥♥ is plaguing the game since early demos

idk what to tell ya, i loaded in a few times already without mods, even before this and i wasn't able to startle a wandering witch by shoving her

here's an actual bug, common infected ignore getting shoved while they're crouched

your copy of the game must be cursed, because this bug doesn't exist in vanilla

Okay... Now a mod that lets me shove the witch without using a headshot.
I want to bully that ♥♥♥♥♥ until she cries her eyes out of her sockets.

@Zadkiel Pretty sure that's a bug. If you throw a molotov or bile at a crying wandering witch, she won't be able to climb anything except ladders. She won't be able to jump, either. Basically, it happens if you skip her screaming animation so that she can't transition to her normal chase state normally like the game intended. Bile and Molotovs skip her scream animation entirely, and she has her default chase speed (300) instead of the staggered/burning 200 speed. However, if you burn a Wandering Witch after she's already startled, she will chase you slowly as intended, and be able to climb, ditto with the bile.

Wandering Witches not being slowed when burning is meant to be a trade off since there easier to kill than sitting Witches. @ Hell-met

Had no idea this bug existed because I've never been brave enough to shove a Witch

I love you. Was it really a bug or just a feature? Felt weird that you could shove her and she wouldn't give a ♥♥♥♥ about it. I guess she's considered a common that is unkillable by shoving so that's why she didn't react, while the sitting variant already had code written for her to make her react to shoving.
