The unique thing about reloading this revolver is because it uses the .45 ACP round that the M1911 uses, is it uses special loading clips called moon-clips. which can be full moon or half moon clips which either load and extract a full revolver cylinder or half a revolver cylinder. they are different from speedloaders for revolvers in that speed loaders does not remain in place when firing the rounds and after firing to extract the empty cartridge cases. Where as a moon clip does remain in place in the cylinder when firing and after firing for extraction.
