that means the mod didn't work or load into the game idk what causes the mod to stopped working on your game. i haven't updated the mod since released

i dont know if this is correlated to the issue as well but deleting the ems config doesnt reload the mod either... it just permanently stays gone unless i manually paste a previously backed up copy

maybe a fresh install of the game would fix it, because not even verifying game cache worked... but thats honestly too much of a hassle right now, so ill make do with having it on the workshop folder 😔

If you move to addons folder, make sure to disable or unsub the workshop file

my mods used table game event. it shouldn't having game event function conflict with other mods unless the table has the same name.

that wasnt it...looks like my custom mod was somehow conflicting with yours because we shared the callback game event round start post nav. after i removed it from my code it wroked again. dont know why

If you have mod that changed both pistol and Magnum ammo type to others than default this mod will not work too

Mod looks for weapon with matching name not slot. As long as that weapon name is "weapon_pistol" And "weapon_pistol_magnum"

hello @Everice, im using this with a weapon script that changes pistols to be on primary slot, but it appears the script is trying to look for the pistols on the secondary slot, therefore not affecting where the pistols currently are. is there a way to change this? how can i do so? thanks

In l4d1 you can manually change weapon.txt inside scriots folder(IIRC) open pistol.txt then change ammo_type to something else eg. Autoshotgun which will make weapon pistol have the same ammo as autoshotgun and could make ci stumble just like autoshotgun does

NetProp is individual entity. I changed weapon pistol NetProp ammo type. And I only set it to apply to unowned pistol(pistol that hasn't been picked up once). There is no way this mod will affect primary weapons. If it does, your problem comes from some weapon mods

There was text next to the pistol ammo count that said NUL, but I went and removed that. Is that NUL text necessary for the mod to work?

idk either. like i said before. this mod doesn't have anything to do with hunting rifle ammo. pistol and magnum ammo type aren't hunting rifle .

@LrBenjhamin#004 that's impossible. the script only target weapon_pistol_magnum. plus there is no script about reducing weapon ammo. each weapon has netprops individually, i only limited the magnum ammo without owner first(before gets picked up) then set its ammo every time when player picks up ammo. more importantly, the ammo type i set to magnum wasn't the hunting rifle

i'm sure your problem comes from other mods

There's a problem: when reloading the pistol while equipped with a hunting rifle, it takes the rifle's ammunition.

this mod only changes the ammo type of weapon by using Vscript NetProps. i didn't use any weapon script gun. and my vscript doesn't conflict with any other vscript. unless that mod has copy-paste functions from this mod
