@Toasty~ Glad you like it. You can rotate the block to come out in the other direction. It's syncs exactly relative to the block.

This is really great! an option to invert the relative direction upon teleport would be really nice. that way you could go in one gate and out another without having to rotate a ship around in a hangar for example. What would be really wild is if it could have an option to set dampeners to a grid in motion it is teleporting to but that sounds challenging and very situational.

@Jastill no problem. A little offset is also fine as long as it's consistent. So you could put a grid of 9 just 1 or more blocks down and then select which destination you go to for example.

@Jastill I'll look into that for future versions. For now you can embed the block very deeply, as long as it's the same on both ends and you make the sphere larger to account for it.

Can I suggest adding in offsets for the location of the sphere? This would allow for the teleport block to be embedded a bit further away from the teleport location

@MistakingManx I can't think of anything that would conflict. You can check the main log, and in your save folder/storage there is a settings file to enable logging from my mod if that helps. you could also publish the world and I could look. I know a few server owners and people with lots of mods running it without issue.

That's odd, in that case adding it shouldn't cause issues, but it does. I have a lot of mods on my world though, is it possible for another mod to potentially change what your mod is accessing?

@The Erubian Warlord Everytime I make an invention for a peaceful use, someone uses it for war.. ok now I want to teleport some cargo ships into gravity :) Technically you could teleport explosives into ship also, or even just blocks since they teleport in with zero speed. Could teleport yourself in also, generally players don't take damage from overlapping with objects so you'll be mostly ok... heh

oh this gonna be fun build a ship with one on the front and TP enemy fighters into underground demolition cells with Bobs on standby ^^

@MistakingManx I can't think of a way.. It uses its own blocks and doesn't really override other stuff. You don't need this with the admin version of it anymore...

@MistakingManx I don't think it's this mod causing the issue. I don't run any code when people login and other than the spheres most processing is triggered by editing settings or triggering a jump, very little background stuff to cause problems. Your main space engineers log is here: C:\Users\YourNameHere\AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers

Does the update also stop the random crashing that takes place without any teleport blocks being placed?

Or you think that was caused by my massive list of mods and one of the conflicting? It seemed to happen out of no-where, but also was able to be triggered consistently by someone joining the world. I don't remember where logs are.

Ohh, it doesn't teleport if someone is seated in it while players are off, that's why it didn't work. Nevermind then! :)

@Obi™ I will give that some thought. For now you could put as many gateway blocks as you want and only active them in 1 direction.

I'm not sure what you mean by refusing to teleport? It checks within the sphere, usually for the center point of the grid. It wont teleport a grid if someone is sitting in a chair on it (if players are turned off). If they stand up though the grid will teleport without them. Are you wanting it to only teleport seated players and their grid but ignore non-seated players?

Also I noticed that for some reason, the gateway refused to teleport a grid and a player at the same time, unless if it was allowed to target players first. I was trying to only teleport the grid.

Would it be possible to change the behaviour of the gateway so that each one has a name, and a destination box. So that they don't need to share names to teleport between one another?

@KevMeUp Yeah saw that issue with another mod, I'm so happy you fixed that in yours, I will be able to play while going from Earth to the Moon with that Teleporter, that will allow me to see how wonky my setting idea is. XD

@Ael's I'm really glad you like it! The moon was a special challenge, at first teleports there got launched into the air, I finally figured out it was because of the instant gravity change :)

Love this mod!
I did have a question about multiplayer functionality.

In my testing, it seemed that only the host is able to trigger teleporters. Is this planned to be fixed? Would love to have this available for multiplayer.

This is more than perfect, I've been looking for a mod like this for weeks. For some context, weeks ago I had written a spitch of a setting and in it I had an Earth-Moon teleportation platform and wanted to visualize it in Space Engineers but no mod that allowed me to teleport worked the way I wanted it to but this, this is amazing!
