@Unknown this map was recommended to me by a friend who doesnt really speak english. i just trusted him and subscribed to all 6 parts and closed the workshop lol. if only i discovered this map myself then i'd see all the descriptions and stuff. i dont really want to replay this map anytime soon anyways, but at least im gonna say something in my defence lol.

@feksik, why bother playing this broken, outdated, long-abandoned version, when it's written all over that it's "not maintained" meaning the author no longer updates it, which you can also see in update log. It also links you to a properly updated version, with like 95% bugs fixed and proper support. Geez, descriptions seem obsolete. Do yourself a favor and replay updated version linked in the description. You might change your mind

i appreciate all the work that went into this, but i have to say that this was the most painful 5hour long experience i've ever had in l4d2

This version is being maintained and has all bugs fixed. I recommend you to play only it.

Finished Silent Hill by Konami before, although the first SH wasn't very good but it's nowhere near as bad as this fanmade. DO NOT WASTE your time playing it, it makes you sick.

@DAVID7, glad you liked it. People, this is an old version that hasn't been updated in years. It's literally a port from l4d1 with all of it's bugs and without l4d2 weapons at all. 还原寂静岭不是把你浮木也一起送进里世界去发癫，开局给的枪少的可怜，一会白天一会黑夜，白天甚至还有层迷雾特效，简直就像是作者亲自去会员制餐厅与真寻迫害德川和我修院后，奇思妙想制作了这坨答辩地图来雷普我和朋友的双眼，我怀疑作者根本就没有玩过这张图，没有很好地平衡地图本身难度和还原地图的欲望，整张图补给给的相当少，很难支撑整张图的游玩过程，而且提示也没有，路又绕，这想必是作者童年被木琴抛弃时而且迷了路的绝望感和迷失感。听我的，不要浪费时间在这张垃圾解密图上，去玩其他作者做的寂静岭也好过这坨沾了稀答辩的压缩毛巾。

Cool concept, Trying to actually play this is insane though. Guy made it and never fixed one thing wrong with it it seems. There's tons of bugs, Had to skip the first chapter entirely just to play it. Would be amazing if it worked properly.

i luv dis campaign so much, I want to figure out where the house fire is on the credits chapter preview thumbnail. I am going to make an origins campaign inspired by this, maybe in a couple years ill have it done ;)

years later, I just wanna say; it took my friend and I 6-8 hours to complete this. I had to look this up to send to someone, but I still always rave about this map. Amazing job. <3

I wanted to like this campaign. I really did. I love Silent Hill and think this campaign looks and feels the part. In addition, the challenge factor makes it very interesting. My problem is the ungodly number of bugs and crashes I went through when playing it. The puzzles are also very glitchy and will not hesitate to either A. Not allow you to pick up the item or B. Not allow you to use said item to complete a puzzle. I must have reset an unholy amount of times to get it to function correctly. No disrespect to the creator. This campaign is beautiful on the surface. However, it offers very little in the way of consistent functionality.

PEOPLE LIKE YOU ARE THE ONES WHO MAKE US FEEL THE LOVE FOR THIS GAME PLEASE DO NOT STOP MAKING MAPS

一点提示都没有属实是折磨人

I can't even play the map with my friend, we loaded the map and were swarmed by hoards of special infected before we could even move. And I mean swarmed there were at least 30 of them including common infected. How do I fix this?

Stupid map, it's really hard to find those keys in the big map and without primary guns.

do people really find this map hard just because of they cant lay hands on a primary weapon at the start of the chapter one like other maps?

I think people are going way to easy on this map. First of all it's a fantastic looking map. Secondly the lack of resources. I'm not gonna flex like one of those virgins saying "oh yeah I bet this bad boy pistol only on advanced realism." No ammo is extremely limited which is opposite of how it should be. Silent Hill has always been very forgiving about ammo. Alot more then Resident Evil. I noticed as I played the only weapons I ever found were m16s and auto shotgun so even tho they ported it to L4D2 they never updated it with the L4D2 roster of weapons. Like defibs would of been amazing to have in this but it feels like it's never been touched up since it's been made. The ending completely bugged for me and the way I beat the story was cause I died and I was using the Advanced AI mod. The bots clipped through the door and got into the saferoom. The map where the safehouse is on top of the roof near the hospital had three tanks in it back to back with no throwables and limited ammo.

I agree with monkey lord, the map is pretty fun, I hope I am able to remaster this campaign, like adding proper steps to the ufo ending (instead of it being random)

all these crybabies commenting. i did first part with a pistol only, on advanced, yall just need to learn to stick together and know when to use items, i dont use my med kits till im dying (screen is white/black) coming from me, a pro at l4d surviving. yall bitching over this persons mod is sad, ( im using underspected pc and that aint stopping me! you losers..

now time for my comment to the maker!! - i loved this whole thing, plus the puzzles were fun, and this was pretty challenging to complete on advanced, even for me! question, i looked everywhere and couldnt find a MAG, is there one scripted in any of the chapters? anyways awesome work, me and my brother about to run this co op! 10/10

说实话，枪几乎没有，物资极少我忍了。到处找钥匙，地图没有明确指示也可以。为了营造恐怖氛围嘛。有一些解密关卡，根本不知道应该干嘛，是该找酒精还是找钥匙，是堵漏还是砌墙。最难受的，费劲千辛万苦启动了机关，然后呢，一脸懵，这机关是干啥的？哪里开门了哪里有路了也不说一声，全图又要反复跑

tmd,高级开局就一瓶止痛药，往前走杀了几个小僵尸出tank了，拿小手枪打半天，打的途中才出第一批特感。我原以为之前那种开局只给两把武器冲锋散弹其他拿手枪已经够离谱了，这个开局啥枪没有。

The first level is a mockery of the players. At the start, everyone has only pistols. There are no machine guns, first aid kits, but when I reached the first intersection, I was met by a tank (and we only have pistols!!!). While you are looking for weapons, first aid kits or keys on the map - you will be crushed 10 times by waves because there are no resources for survival. The location of resources in silent hill does not work for Left 4 dead, because there are no waves of zombies and tanks in silent hill. The author! You've done a good job on the maps, don't you want to work on the balance???

Somehow got stuck in the damn door to the lighthouse. Door closed when I tried to enter. Now I'm stuck.

all in all I liked this map very much :3 It's difficult,so beware, ammu and health is rare, but the scares are truly good. Only the last episode is a little weird and hurts the eyes a bit :'D Hint: if you have epileptic issues, definitely don't play the last part. x.x

Wonderful and creepy maps. The design of the various levels is excellent. Well done!
At times the total darkness of the various levels can be confusing. 10/10!

不推，怪產卵的速度太快了，停留個30秒左右就大暴動...
武器+補包位置設置非常不推給單人，AI根本撿不到，特感又一直出(3關的特感沒停過)，又沒有補給彈藥區
光是迷路就讓人心累，補包也少的可憐...可以把它當生存打。(主要是AI很愛在毒液上跳舞)
但你是路癡，又想好好看地圖...不如原版吧，路基本都不清晰、極度傷眼
前三關都沒有近戰武器(三關我就放生了)，大概只推多人(免得自己中風)沒玩過原版至少要會些英文(類似解謎遊戲)
