Maybe. MERDC is time-consuming, and I tend to focus on easy/quick tasks first - of which there are lots. I'm currently taking a break from Arma modding though, with the intention of resuming in the coming weeks/months.

Are you going to add the MERDC camo on the jeeps for the US faction?

Depends on which faction(s) most appeal to you. For instance, if you want to use the BAOR in a mission, you should launch Arma with the SOG PF cDLC, and my DCX_VN mod at the very least. But I would also recommend my DVR and DCX_RF mods as well as Phantom Hawk's Blowpipe and Javelin mods.

No cDLC or mod is a "hard" dependency, which is why none are listed as "requirements". Sorry for the confusion, but it is what it is :)

what mods i need for this?
dmorchard  [Autor] 1. Aug. um 9:46
Absolutely! It is something I've been planning from the start, but early on JB was missing vests and other gear that would have made it possible. I think I can probably do it now, but it's just one of many things on my to-do list.

Question, would it be possible to use the uniforms and gear from Jamies Basics as at least an optional dependency instead of CSLA Iron curtain?

Gracious for your faction mods regardless of ETA. There's so much potential in factions made without Cup/RHS imo and the care and research you take making them is greatly appreciated!

Yes. I've already collected the classnames of appropriate weapons from FWA, NIArms, and Operation Frenchpoint. Now it's just a matter of editing configs to prioritize those weapon classes when these other mods are present.

Note also that my current pace of modding is not what it was in recent months.

Would you consider The Free World Arsenal as a dependency? At least for the CFE it has a carry handle C7, an FN-MAG for a C6, and M1919A5 for a C5 "stand-in", unless you can make it fire 7.62x51 belts. the M249 in CSLA is very similar to the early C9 as well

Awesome.

Yes. I'm still cooking things up :)

RHS and maybe even 3CB Factions could be good soft dependencies for this.

Can't wait to see what comes of this! Especially the Canadian Forces in Europe, With Jamie's Basic and SOG you could create pretty faithful Canadian infantry with almost no other dependencies!
dmorchard  [Autor] 11. Mai um 9:30
I plan to do that. I need Alice packs from US85 - also weapons - so it just makes sense from a "least dependencies" perspective to be CSLA-IC based, for now. I am looking at mod combination alternatives for current and future factions within the mod.

You should use my boy Jamie's Basic mod since he has US gear in there now.

Apologies to Lucky_Lexi in the DMO_USSR comments. On second thought, you were right :)
