Always thought it was dumb that gladiators couldn't help out in a defensive siege battle; seems like that would be an all hands on deck situation. Never really use them in the field since they're too time-consuming to replenish(shame bc they're pretty cool), so now I'll get a chance to use them more often.

I do follow the doctrine though of not doing "have the cake AND eat it", as it were, request mods, simply because I'd never see the end of it.
That said, you can easily do it on your own with PFM. Just clone and open this mod and delete the buildings_units_allowed table.
