Also same for me, looks like since last update it became incompatible with 'Research Reinvented: Stepping Stones' https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2868389782&searchtext=stepping

Other than error generating map error, it will also spam endless log error when vanilla 'Research tab' is opened.

Im also using Research Reinvented and Semi-random Research and this mod work OK without stepping stones.
