BananaDirt, that's because rope's push force is so much it's tearing up your arm, you can try lowering hook's pull speed by "rm_hook_speed" and also change "rm_hook_damping" so it takes less time to catch up with rope

Like when I use the grappling hook my ragdoll starts flinging in random directions randomly and kills itself. I'm using the basic playermodels :/.

BananaDirt, rope disconnects as soon as you release mouse button (you can write '-attack' for left hand, and '-attack2' for right hand in console). what you meant by "spazing out" i don't understand

Hello, is there a way to fix your player from spazing out when he reaches the wall, also how do you disconnect the rope like in the video when you're swinging around?

00Slevin, its been configurated to work with hl2 citizens/rebels. the thing is idk how to get exactly hand bone on any char since gmod doesn't provide adequate tools for bone management

living2suffer, я бы хотел чтоб они летели из рук, но почему-то узнать номер кости руки в гмоде нереально, так что я путём научного тыка нашёл номер кости ладони на случайном повстанце из half-life 2 и паутинка с ним вылетает как раз таки из рук. я буду рад если кто-нибудь подскажет как адекватно найти кость ладони у гуманоидов.

Прикольный аддон, но увы, регдолл почти никогда не выпускает "паутину" из рук. Чаще всего летит из ног, а так откуда угодно, кроме рук.

nemesisfox822 if the problem is you dunno how to disable/enable addon on-the-fly then theres command for u:
BindToggle <key> rm_hook_enable
if the problem is you're playing with friends using this addon, then sorry, there's no implementation for it

itsElub i just thought there could be addon or lua script that removes entities which represent visual rope actually. u can try to disable all addons except ragmod reworked and this one and also u can check your lua folder in directory /garrysmod/lua/autorun u could delete all of them and validate game files so steam redownload nessessary files

itsElub if ropes works as intended (it pulls you in the right way and comes from hands) but is not visible there's only one thing that can be broken and its rope material, idk how to fix it man try other pms or validate ur gmod files idk really
