There, there's all the unpacked resource files for my mods. Knock yourselves out.
I've since uninstalled Space Engineers as each update was making the game worse and worse, especially for multiplayer. If you guys want to try fixing my mods, though, feel free.
Somewhere in there is where all the downloaded Space Engineers mods are located.
Dumb question, but are the resource files accessible through any means from workshop downloads? If not, I'll see about uploading them to my Google Drive and linking them for anyone to use.
I looked it up but I'm to stupid to go through files and the sort, isn't there an eaiser way?
I'm still useing DX9
well, I'm late...
Thanks for that skybox dude (or dudette), it was amazing :D.
That being said I'm surprised that this mod stopped working. I wonder if they implemented that directory fix that makes extentions for DDS textures mandatory. AFAIK that's the only thing that could break such an otherwise-simple mod.
Sorry, but that temp solution will have to likely be the only one for now, short of figuring out how to "straighten" the skybox from within Space Engine. ATM I don't know how to do that, so hopefully someone does figure out how to do that and posts a tutorial.
The base solution you've offered would work fine if not for the certain stabilities I was looking for that come with stations over ships :) Nevertheless cheers :D
Since that's currently impossible AFAIK, here's a temporary solution: Assuming the station isn't attached to an asteroid, attach thrusters and gyroscopes to it and turn it into a large ship. You'll then be able to manually rotate it to the exact right angle. Incidentally this is how I made my starbase in my Earthlike Planet Atmospheric Skybox (the other one, over a high orbit of the planet) be aligned perfectly; I simply made it a large ship and rotated it to the correct angle.
PS: I just uploaded three screen shots of a station with this sky box if I once again failed at explaining.
