maybe i could make it so nspecial has no cooldown and you guys could go absoutely nuts with it, it was really fun when I didn;t have a cooldown

The lack of motivation is understandable, as an artist I always deal with the roller coaster that is trying to find the motivation to continue my work, but I and many others share the sentiment that your Viridian isn't bad at all, his neutral special is just a bit wonky to us effectively. I'm not a modder, the farthest I've gotten with stuff like this is just making sprites, so I can't say for certain whether or not my suggestion for his gravity-flip would "fix" it, but I hope you rise from the rut you've fallen into and see that what you made isn't as awful as you think it is.

i know how badly i messed up viridian, but I don't change anything because I don't want to. He sucks and I can't have any motive to help fix what has already became such a dumpster fire of a character.

I genuinely don't know what could make this a good character considering the gimmick

Missed opportunity with not letting the side-special projectile bounce off the gravity trampoline too, but besides those two things I really like this Viridian.

I don't get why you can't just press B again to flip gravity back? Having to jump or air dodge or hit someone before then seems needlessly complicated. I bet it'd feel a lot better to use if you were just allowed to flip gravity twice, then need to touch the ground to recharge it with some exceptions like the up-b line.

i still have no idea how to fix that, i have not found a solution to that without breaking the character

cool character, but when i use the gravity flip with my friends, it crashes their game, and they have everything installed that i have installed.

man the point of nspecial special is to DO cool anti gravity combos, well atleast you like the character! thank you for your support!

awesome character, but I do wish neutral special was more versatile (like being able to do cool antigravity combos without the fear of dying off the top every time)

Neutral special killing you so easily is a huge minus for this moveset for me. I don't think anything else in the character is powerful enough to justify such a volatile move being in the kit. I think trying to use them in a real match would result in five times the SDs as any other character without any real upsides to make up for it

i think he would be more fun if his up and neutral specials were swapped because the neutral special sends him up more and it would be harder to imput down special instead of gravity line while upside down

They're Captain Viridian from the 2010 classic "VVVVVV". This appearance is based on the one they take in Indie Game Battle. The moveset is original but takes parts from both indie pogo and game battle
