You made good levels bro! What I don't get though is why you complain about stuff like hot start + bullet dodging or just bullet dodging in general though, it is usually a good replacement to baiting if done well.

Yeah it's technically a Hotel but "Hotel Havoc" was a shit title, so I went for "Motel Maniac."

i beat htm2 on switch and buy here on steam only for the custom levels and all of them is very fun, nice job bro

Yeah I think the second floor was a bit bad in terms of gameplay, but I mainly made it to complete the theme of the level, and also to have an interesting new locale in the form of a drained pool.

Pretty chill level, I liked it! Only things I wish were a bit different is the roaming melee enemy at bottom right of floor 1, as he can often wander into really unfortunate positions, which can completely break the nice flow of that floor, also the floor 2 just seems kinda hollow? Its a bit difficult to describe, but there's just no thinking there, and also no difficulty in it, it just kinda feels like filler, wish it was a bit more complex like floor 1, or went more hard on the difficulty. But overall its a really nice level, dont think the small flaws are too big of a deal, as there's a huge amount of nice details, like the start of floor 1, love that part, reminds me of Scene 4

Can't say I'm the biggest fan, but the level looks neat and has some non-standard sprites. Thumbs up from me.

Also I didn't think it needed to be longer, there's only so much you can do with a hotel before it starts to look stale, and I think if I even did one more floor it'd be very very stale.

I think it's too short, and a little misleading. Why put all the effort into that staircase if it isn't actually a floor transition?
