Personally I like that one a bit more, it's more overly strange compared to this one.

Not bad, but the last map is quite unplayable with bots, as they would keep getting stuck in the corners of each house and fence.

It's a little too linear for my tastes and doesn't really have much memorable about it, although the finale is a pretty cool idea for sure. I'll give the linearity a pass, I'm a sucker for anything Halloween...

Tank health is throttled to about 1/3 during the finale, that's including the pre-escape tanks that aren't linked to knocking on a door. The key is setting the right pace for yourself, if you knock on the doors quick then everything happens quick. If you clear out the commons from the panic events before hitting the doors, the tanks are a lot easier to take out.

one of the best finals in l4d2, but that's when the tanks hp was full tbh. I rly had fun beating that final with 3 of my friends in advanced difficulty. can u at least put the version that had the full hp tanks final in the workshop too? so the players who love try harding can play it? :))

Прикольная кампания, состоящая из трёх глав. Из недостатков - маловато оружия, и слишком лёгкая концовка (здоровье танков сильно уменьшено). В остальном же, карта понравилась, добавить бы ещё пару глав и ивентов.

Full health is probably better than what it was. I thought it was a modded server cause tanks had such low health. The sweet spot should be somewhere in-between.

I had a feeling I went overboard with that. There was alot of negative response to them having full health so I set their health at less than half of what it normally is. I'll probably add a bit more health at some point, but since 8 tanks can potentially spawn before people can escape, it'll still be fairly low. I appreciate you mentioning this, I figured it was the case but no one was saying anything.

Good short campaign, I liked it. The only complaint I had was during the finale, the trick or treat tanks had so little health that they didn't even have time to throw a rock at us before they got mowed down. Maybe replace them with just a normal special or something? They're kind of pointless after the first one when you know they're coming. The "real" Tank that comes after pouring the cans also has practically no health too, so the finale overall was incredibly easy. I will say that I really liked the idea of using the traffic lights to point the way through the fog. :steamthumbsup:

@ morgborg - That works but that low tier bug definitely detracts from the experience. Will have the fix posted tomorrow along with the alternate version of this campaign though.

@ WellDy - Glad to hear you liked it. As for the tank theme, it's a song called Nightmare by Jack Turner. I should probably add music credits to this come to think of it.

Just a quick word. I've finally found the root cause of the intro camera bug (which turned out to be two factors and I'd only fixed one in the current version). I'm going to post another update this weekend so let me know if there's anything else I should take a look at.

That's a head scratcher. I applied a fix to the intro camera but it seems the problem is somehow still happening. I'll have a little bit of time after work to try to fix this today, till then I can't really say much because I don't have time to look.

The issue that's happening is the intro camera's movement starts before players enter the game, so the logic that ends the intro scene fires before players are in the game. Meaning players receive the 'disable camera' command before the camera is on, so it never turns off.

What's particularly odd is this behavior was changed so the camera doesn't start moving until 1 player is physically in the game, but the camera seems to still be doing what it was before the fix. So I'm fully aware of what's happening and why, I just need a bit of time to work on it.

Map1: Introduction camera work doesn't work well.
We all got stuck and only solution is to restart the game.I think this problem have happened from V1.0.

I like the feeling of deja vu. It adds confusion and dread because you have no idea if you've already been there before. Resources are generous, albeit I haven't encountered an autoshotgun at all. The melee weapons are a nice addition, too.

I do agree upping the brightness a bit or lowering the contrast.
