the only disaster this seems to disable for me is the ash storm. Which is well worth it but, for me, it does not disable hungry pests or heat waves.. lol i have 2 different heat waves going at the moment so maybe it somehow allows that accidentally.

It worked ages ago. Sometimes things change.
The other way is to create your own working Mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/strandedaliendawn/mods/6

bei mir funktioniert dein mod garnicht ich habe einen meteoriten schauer obwohl er eigentlich deaktiviert sein soll

This is great, I hate solar flare. Whenever it happens, my game crashes since all my eletric fences get turned off and turned on, and it so many so the game just completely freezes.
