To be honestly I'm thinking if it's because that you need L4D2 mounted in order to have sounds, because it has proper sound for me.

Well right now you can just extract the models and just put them into the SFM folder if you just want to use them for some basic animations or posing.

I do have an idea of making an enhanced model prop version of them someday though, so yeah.

Man I'm not really sure tbh, pardon, as I feel like something is really wrong with whatever the tool I'm using, or it's just the problem with the Steam Workshop, since everything is just fine for me when I download them from the workshop myself.

I hate having to do this since it might accidentaly make someone think the answer was found but since i also want to know what is causing this errors i'll also leave my comment in case somebody figures out what the hell is happening

Just tested in my game, and there's nothing wrong on my side.
I believe you guys might have to check out if there's any addon that conflicts with it yourself.

It would be cool if the event weapons would be added in the original L4D2 (if they're remodeled and not reskins of existing ones). But then again, it's not gonna happen anyway.
