I have used this mod in my city and after I took it off and used it for a while crime rate has gone super high in my city, even if I got police station where ever I need them.
Is it something the creator know about?

It works but household will contain no people thus you won't have enough people to work in factories

I have pressed CTRL+ALT multiple times, I even added pressing D both right after holding the other two buttons, while still holding them and all at the same time.

I still won't be able to see any way of using this MOD and due to a bug in Cities Skylines, I am watching my highly functional city suffering to the cities disertion bug where people just disappear without a reason, a bit at a time.

For some reason pipes and power lines dont work with this mod on :(

As far as I can tell, there are no issues at all with the latest patch version (nor do I expect this mod to stop working, as it only interacts with a single core component of the simulation, which is extremely unlikely to change - if it does, I'll fix it though).

I simply don't have the time to verify conflicts with other mods (much less attempt to solve them) but I will gladly accept reports on my GitHub issues page, that way I can make a note of them here so people aren't caught off-guard :)

@Alice&Gui, Real Time very likely interacts with the ZoneManager component of the simulation (which is what I use to force demand values), but it's also highly likely there's nothing I (or they) can do about that unfortunately.

Nvm I messed with too many things, long story short not the mod's fault for zones not building

Having similar issue to others - something is glitching demand from actually building for certain zone types. My high density residential and commercial no longer build.

@DragonsOfLightning It still works for the latest version. Some mods don't need to be updated to work with the latest version of the game.

It's not compatible for this version. Can someone make an up-to-date version please?

For some reason, this mod when active along with Real Time, is making the zones not to build anything up.

hey falc. thanks for the support. The game crashes in the loading process just at the end. I did a test this morning and the mod works with the same asset/mod-list and map but a new game. Therefore it seems to be an issue of a heavily modded save game. I try to figure out the issue and then I will post it on github. But as I'm on the way to some holidays this may take a few weeks. :D

@seb thanks for that, if at all possible, could you see if there is a crash dump when that happens that you can post on my github as an issue? I'll look into it

My game crashes atm when loading a save with this on. If I turn it off, everything is fine. As I have no need for the mod I don't bother. Just wanted to inform you.

@Jamal - I'm not really sure how that could be this mod - it doesn't do anything population related at all, nor does it modify your save game.

because of this mod i got a 0 population bug on my main city, i turned it off and i got pop up message errors nonstop and i had to reinstall the whole game (deleting all the maps). thanks.

Ok, so fix for Mac users: Just use the shortcut Command + Option + D. Button doesn't work no matter what.

@DubJ Sorry to ask the obvious question, but you enabled the mod in Content Manager?
Otherwise, check the options menu to see if the button and shortcut are disabled (they should default to true, but worth having a look)

It shouldn't matter that you're on a mac, though perhaps the shortcut becomes command+alt+D? I haven't got a mac to test on sorry

I subscribed to this mod, rebooted Steam and loaded into my existing city and I can't seem to get it working. I'm not a Mac, not sure if that matters... Any tips?

I replied to your GitHub issue, but in case you see this first, try setting the panel position in the xml file to x = 1920, y = 1080 so the panel should appear somewhere to the bottom-right of the centre of a 4k panel (or thereabouts anyway)

Oh and, edit the file before launching the game

You can try editing the settings manually! There's a file called DemandController_Settings.xml in your cities folder (same as the game exe), open it notepad and set the window position to 200, 200 and see if it reappears

@ElGordo, I'm sorry I don't have a 4k to test on, but I tried at at a bunch of resolutions (including weird ones like 2560x1080) and didn't see any issues - I'll see if I can test on a 4k somewhere in the next few days and see what I find!

So it /was/ working when you first installed it, but now you can't see it since moving the button? Or it hasn't ever shown the main box since the 21/02 patch?

sorry to p**s on your chips, as they say, and it did work fine since update but ive moved the button to top of the screen and now the main box doesnt appear when clicking either the button or Ctrl-Alt-D - i think its to do with screen size maybe - im using a large 4k on max settings - resolution and aspect
