Believe it or not, I haven't actually had a chance to really play AUH yet to see what family relations are like, so I don't know if there's even a requirement for a mod to handle them like there was for Feuds, however I wasn't planning to create a new mod for FR.
are you going to make another? the people are needing a mod that ends these silly nonsensical feuds
If you tried reading this page, noticing the relevant notice at the very top, I would not need to give you a personal message regarding the status of this mod
As the top of the page says, this mod has been deprecated and so is not compatible with 1.18 (All Under Heaven)
turned it on but cant seem to stop feud doesn't come with the option to stop feuding.
not sure what im missing
haha feuds are fun but they can become a tad tedious when the other dynasty is better at them than yours so everyone you knew suddenly dies off or is seduced
Although the mod starts events, it uses the vanilla mechanism so doesn't do anything different to vanilla and I have no plans of diverging from vanilla because the maintenance increases, as does the chance of creating bugs.
Glad you got it working.
For future game updates you should have a look at
https://github.com/Ant0nidas/CK3-Playset-Preserver/
It will preserve your current playset to guard against mod updates moving beyond your version of the game.
Sorry I can't maintain multiple game versions of my mods.
There's just too much work to keep them up to date, as yet i still have not played one minute of 1.13 as I am still updating my test workbench mod which all the other mods are based on.
You can probably find an older version, most likely 1.12, on skymods though but you will have to manually install it.
Working fine for me.
When you think you have an issue please test the mod in a fresh game with no other mods running to discount any mod clash.
I can turn on/off feud control, and start/end feuds.
What do you think isn't working?
hah, that was one of the more interesting bugs I've ever introduced
Thanks for the catch
Thanks for the localization, it should be live now
"maybe some consanguineous marriage who had lead to transfer the feud from the cadet house to the main house"
That's an interesting thought, I'll have to find some time to check the code for that and also the "Unofficial Patch" mod to see if the dev found anything like that. If I can isolate the problem I'll report it to the UP dev so he can fix it there as it would be outside the focus of this mod.
Yes the Unofficial Patch mod is on the workshop here

maybe some consanguineous marriage who had lead to transfer the feud from the cadet house to the main house
The Unofficial Patch is on the workshop too ?
thanks, happy gaming you too
wow, I have never heard of a house feuding with itself, I don't know how that is even possible.
Perhaps you have a broken mod in your playset that causes that, or even a conflict between this mod and another mod in your playset that causes that.
I do recommend using Unofficial Patch mod, the dev has made a ton of vanilla bug fixes and did some extensive work fixing bugs in the feud system.
I'm glad you fixed your issue though, happy gaming
I let this here, maybe someone will have the same issue one day, it can be useful.
I had a feud before with a cadet branch of my dynasty, i've killed their house leader and then i had the option to end the feud, and i had take it.
But few time after, the game said me that i am in a feud with my own house, i've killed the one who was my rival after that notification, but immediatly after, one other of my house become my new rival, and on, and on... And none of my assassinations have been known.
Having good relationship family who suddently become rivalry is really game breaking... :(
Do you mean you have a feud with a cadet house in the same dynasty?
This has come up before and the mod does end intra dynasty feuds except there is a annoying bug where your house/dynasty head can ignore a feud notification and messes up the whole feud mechanism, leaving the opposing house feuding with your house but your house is not feuding with the opposing house, at which point you may not be able to end the feud.
To see if you can end the feud with the mod do the following
1) if the actual dynasty head is not you or your house head, then try to end the feud against the dynasty head
2) try to end the feud against the opposing cadet house head
3) try to end the feud against any member of the opposing cadet house
The other alternative if you are not hunting achievements is to run debug mode so you can swap to the opposing house head and end the feud from that side, but it still may not work.
With the mod i can start/end feud with other house.
But the rivality who drive me crazy since few day is with my OWN house. And i can't end feud with no one of my house. I think than i've just to give up my save...
But thanks for your answer
French language will just show English language.
The Feud mod does work though.
If the mod does not work for you, then create a new playset that only has the Feud mod in it and start a new game, if the mod then works you have a mod conflict, if it still does not work then come back and report it.
Sure just pop a link to a pastebin or similar with the loc in discussions or a comment and I'll pick it up.
The only problem with this and other locs is that if/when I update the mod any localization for other languages will then be by a translator like google so won't be perfect like yours.
You should check out the Unofficial Patch mod if you haven't already, Kazarion did some updates to the feud mechanics to fix some of the feud bugs, which might help you out, and there's a ton of other vanilla bug fixes in his mod you probably don't even know you are affected by.
Glad you identified the problem. It doesn't sound like this mod or any other mod will be able to help you.
All you can do for the moment is turn off the Less Old Wives mod and report the bug to the dev of the mod, but as the mod has not been updated for Lance it may be that the dev has stopped playing CK3 and updating their mods.
I turned off all mods and it went away so I did some mod testing. I managed to localize the House feuding with itself coming from the mod Less Old Wives - AI Men Marry Younger Fertile Women.
When I turn that mod off, the house feud goes away. Starting the game with all mods off and this one on, the issue is there so it is the mod itself and not a mod conflict.
Happy to help and provide a save file. Where do I send it?
No, but have a look at the Unofficial Patch mod by Kazarion, he's done a lot of work fixing feuds, so he might have come across that bug and fixed it.
Let me now if he has because at some point in my TODO list I penciled in reviewing whether to port his feud bug fixes to FEUD. I put it lower down my TODO list because Kazarion was still investigating the feud system, which he has now completed, and I never intended FEUD to be a bug fix.
Either way I recommend UP because it fixes so many bugs in vanilla, and if it's loaded as your base mod, i.e. the 1st in your playset, then every other mod can overwrite it in places they overlap so his mod still fixes so many other bugs while never intruding on other mods.
