This is the kinda mods you definitely don't think of, but once you see them you're like "you're mine now", nice work mate !

@Silver - the variations are randomly assigned, so unfortunately there's no way to breed, say, a line of golden wargs for your nobles. Making them actually genetic would probably require writing a code to assign a permanent pattern and colour to each warg individually so they could pass on either, much like hair and skin colour genes in Biotech. It would be cool to see, but way beyond my humble abilities!

I love this. Every animal in the game needs a mod like this.

Do the colors/patterns pass down through breeding or will a breeding pair just produce a random color/pattern? I have no idea what the code for that would be like.

@1Z Rison - each specific outcome has equal weighting, but some patterns are more prevalent. The three hyena-based types are most commonly seen because there are solid and shaded variants for each hyena base pattern, while Tan-point is the rarest pattern, having only two outcomes. Also, some of the colours are harder to tell apart on the patterned wargs, so it might look like two of the same 'red husky' variant when they're actually different shades (as seen in the demo image).

I've considered making an 'expanded' version with some really silly colours and patterns, perhaps for April Fool's. Hmm, maybe Even More Ridiculous Warg Variety...?

Variety is quite apt a description for this.
Although at first glance I mistook some of the patterns for.. zebras. Do the different textures have a commonality value? So that some show up more/less rarely than others?

I could totally see some less serious textures, like cow spots, yellow, and so on. And of course, Zebra pattern

@Tatzenmonster - Oh, don't tempt me!

Needs more.

This is pretty amazing. Now no two of my large murder pups will ever be the same!

@Halituis Amaricanous - Traditionally wargs are giant wolves, but a fair number of modern depictions give them hyena-like features as well. Personally I like the hyena style and hyenas have some great coat patterns, so I included them in here.

@Fae - Glad you like them!
Fae 24 dec, 2022 @ 15:15
Holy smokes I love them! <3 They're all so cute! Thanks alot for the addition coat variety.
