Looks like imgBB images are also not working sometimes because my own workshop submitted condo is also having a similar issue. However if I open the not loading images in my web browser I get a "service not available" image instead, and sure enough when I log in to imgBB I get the exact same thing. Guess I gotta switch image hosts... 🙃

Ok, I reloaded the condo and now the dream balcony skybox, as well as the door to Candle World worked 🙃 I also keep getting this error when I launch the condo (no, I did not misspell that word lol):

Might be worth asking around in the PixelTail forums? It could be a specific interaction between the game and Dropbox, or the current build of the game is buggy as always...

Bruh I really don't know 💀All the dropbox URLs seem to download the image when I put them in my browser rather than visualising it yet in the game some do render and some don't? I really don't know what it could be. Maybe it's something to do with that "key" part in the URL but without trying dropbox in my condo I wouldn't be sure (I use imgBB).

None of the Nexus doors work for me nor some stuff in the balcony like the skybox, is this also what you were seeing?

Man that really sucks! I really don't know how else to help you at this point, it's been several months since I played or even launched the game so quite a few things could've changed or become broken...

Part of the reason I stopped was due to these issues, having put lots of hours only for something to break and undo the progress without any clear signs on what to do to fix it. It's such a never-ending struggle

Originally, even when URLs didn't work, they would still be in the canvas data section. Meaning I could replace them with the URL replace option. But they now all appear as white so... yeah. I feel really stupid for putting this off for so long.

Welp, the new tower unite update has completely removed the use of discord links for canvases in condos. Meaning I won't be able to use the URL replacer and manually replace every canvas one at a time...

Yeah, this works. I just need to upload the original images to a file hosting site and then replace the links. I'll probably do it a bit at a time.

The update with the canvas find and replace tools are out. You access them in the tab menu under the canvas tab.
The find button puts a spark on all items using the URL, like advanced item search mode.
The replace button prompts you for a new URL that applies to all items using the old one.
There is also a "check" button to check if the URL works or not.

I hope this is what you were looking for, it looks like it might be a bit tedious still. I was hoping we'd have the options in the context menu when right clicking items but we do not 😭

Ah that's good! I saw from the weekly dev logs that they're adding better canvas URL management tools. It looks like we will be able to find all items using the same URL and swap it out with a few clicks. That will probably help to alleviate the issue.

Hey, I'm sorry for the late reply, I completely missed the notification. I haven't started yet, and to be honest I'm not sure if I will any time soon. It's going to be a lot of work and I just don't have the motivation at the moment. Currently there are a total of 266 custom canvases, and it it's very daunting.

I just uploaded my fangame recreation condo and I think it would be nice if people could check out both of them since they're related. No pressure though, I now know what it's like working on these type of projects after going through the experience myself.

You're probably going to have to move all the images to something like Catbox and manually update the links in the condo. Discord made changes to make image links not permanent anymore because they didn't like that people used them as a file host lol.

IIRC direct URLs now have a slightly different domain and also some sort of ID, they are only meant to be valid for 24 hours so I'm guessing your condo still uses the old URLs. Discord might have decided to make all the old URLs invalid recently, odd considering this change was put in effect several months ago.

But yeah, it's probably for the best to change hosts. My friend was forced to do the same.

Turns out I was only updating the info: description and such. Either way it still doesn't seem to work. I think it is indeed a issue with discord...

FWIW, if this probes too difficult to fix I'm willing to help any way I can. I'm working on my own smaller project recreating a few scenes from YN fangames and I'm using your condo as a reference point. It's what inspired me to do this in the first place!

It still says last updated on October for me, maybe I need to wait for a bit.
It might be working for you because the canvases are cached on your machine.

My friend just tested it for me, and it still doesn't work. I honestly have no Idea why it works for me, but not for others.

Okay, I just loaded up the condo and the canvases seem to work. I have made a few changes since I last published a update to the condo. I've just updated it now, please let me know if it works!
