A cool feature you can try and implement is blood on your screen when you kill someone up close.

this mod autoloads the textures on starting up a map, so that way it doesnt lag when each texture appears for the first time, but its missing one of the textures so it shows a missing texture.

id love to see an equivalent of this where you get the effect after instakilling an enemy close to you, as if its their blood splattering on the screen, would work well with gore mods

Ive got an interesting problem, ever since I uninstalled this mod, the Horde gamemode doesent work, and every time I install this again it works fine

suggestion to activate screen blood when the hl2 blood particle plays near the player, eg: when npc gets shot next to you or when player kills enemies with melee
