Yeah the mod still works in 5.0 but the new unit types added by Thrones of Decay need patching. They still got the jarring long trails.

yes they've introduced a new trail for empire nuln weapon :
wh3_dlc25_nuln_ironsides_ror_rifle_trail

i think the mod needs to be updated now :)

The new empire missile units seem to use the Bolt throwers trails. It looks very oppressive! Outriders especially release a white blur when they all fire at once.

I love the mod, is there supposed to be no fire arrows when using magic to make them fire? I Imagine that would be difficult to change.

the gun trails are horrendously blurred and way to fat for some reason. Do i need to change a graphics setting or something?

For some reason I don't see any weapon trails, except buckshots. Any ideas which mod may affect them?

Any chance trails for bolt throwers/ushabti bows could be altered? Because I feel the trails are a bit big for the projectile. Especially with the "arrowhead" on the end of the trail.

This mod is amazing. Always hated the arrow trails from the vainilla game and this make them perfect. Is like playing medieval 2 or even better. Thank you very much!

This mod does not need updates! It will always work regardless the main game version. It also can savely installed/deinstalled at any time at any version

@Lost Latios, it is a vanilla problem and effects all projectiles. It may be adjustable but not looking into it atm.

Kugath's trail is practically invisible when viewing from higher up. (I am using the camera mod though, so that might be causing some type of effect.) Is that something you can adjust?

hard to see from a screenshot, because trails are longer if you pause the game. I made the horror projectiles smaller though.

avalon sister's arrows! a new discovery! it some how flickered when i play and it shows since their arrows itself already glow and bright,it looks actually better without the "blue bar" around it,maybe try that out ?if it works maaybe consider apply it to all arrow types that has colour of its own.it only happened for awhile, then it got back to the blue bar thing again,i dont know how ,but just pure arrow itself just looks so great,if that works like wood elf's arrows could be done the same i think

Do you think you could make a version that is a middle ground between this and vanilla? Playing a Settra campaign the arrows are basically completely invisible unless I am zoomed right in (on the desert/badlands maps).

Hi Phoenix, it may be another mod. My mod does not touch the trails of these units. I did a quick check on Kurgath and Nurgle Soulgrinders and there is no difference to vanilla. Also note that on a certain distance trails are not visible anymore or reduce drastically in quality, but that is vanilla behaviour.

Greetings. First off, awesome mod, love how it looks especially in combination with added gunpowder and the like. Thanks for your time and effort! However, it seems to utterly gimp the visuals of artillery and artillery like projectiles (Kugath, Soulgrinders), removing any smoke, fire, or nurgling juice streaks in the air. Is there a way to selectevly reenable those?

For some reason i can barely see projectiles, probably cuz i play with better camera mod and have it pretty high and its just impossible to see any projectile and trail after some point, it feels kinda bad :C

it is only visual. No more lasertrails. It has nothing to do with the range of a weapon.

@安非他命 I don't think you need to worry about the version number, as long as the MOD works. (I have 153 mods, if I had to wait for each one to update, I wouldn't have to play the game)

The trajectory of the arrow is great, but I can't see the gunpowder clearly. Can I install another MOD to make the trajectory of the gunpowder bullet clearer? (I mean do they clash?)

noticed the rock from the dawi katapults disappear and leaves only the little white trail when zoomed out. coudl this be fixed?

Great job, was looking for something like this. still being able to see where projectiles go without the insane white stripes across your screen!
