@Greymalkin man I hate when dudes ask for permission from a guys who's been awol for over a year......... Just do like others, upload it, and promise to remove it if the original creator ever comes back and asks that you do so... PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!

@Raegorn if SFO changes the vanilla units then probably not, it won't cover any custom units either.

@bySIEN it doesnt, mainly because I feel like lore wise Wood elfs arent really the kind to do formation fighting.

@Super Cosmic Space Magnet thats actually pretty easy to do, its just a checkbox in one of the unit tables. I can upload a mod later that does this for the units in this pack.

I absolutely LOVE this mod. It feels so perfect for the High Elves' ultra-disciplined vibe. I remember there was a mod in WH2 that also made Elves march in perfect unison like how skeletons do, but I can't find it in WH3. Combining that mod with this one would be so badass.

@Hotel India it increases melee defence, but also keeping them in formation will stop blobbing with makes them (slightly) less prone to AOE damage and reduce the amount of individual men exposed to melee combat at any one time.

Agreed about maybe expanding to other races, but I think that should be done with a separate mod so people can pick and choose. Great mod as well

Fantastic mod. So simple, but so elegant. I understand your resisting the urge to start applying it willy-nilly, but I'd love to see this on Tomb King and Vampire Count skeletal infantry too (not zombies/ghouls etc obviously).

@ThaddiusX they do, unlike other formation mods this ones already in the game for cathay and enabled on units by default, ive just applied it to HE and DE units.

Looks very elegant. What I wonder is, does the AI also use it? I tried another formation mod earlier, and it did not seem that the AI used any formations in that one. Just the player, which made me sad.
