Mmmmm seem to be an issue yes, but I don't have yours. It crashed for another reason, but I can launch the game from it no problemo. The actual problem is that it losts all presets and settings. For the settings, fine, I did it again, but for the presets and the activated mods... There are some configs backup in the folder, there should be a manual option to "upload" them into the manager if it fails to do so... If I manually replace in the folder the config.json with one of the backups by renaming it, it doesn't care.

Don't know what to do if not doing it all again.

Now I want to get back into modded TWW3, look for a better mod manager than CA's mess, and THIS one is broken.

@boblikesoup a question first, did you already limit the fps of the game? Warhammer 3 is one of the games, that if you dont limit its fps it will use 100% of the available resources to get as much fps as possible, lagging the game and the pc.

Thanks for adding the compatibility with shogun but it doesn't work properly. It doesn't load all the mods that I'm subscribed to while the CA launcher correctly displays all of them. My guess is that this happens because you're only allowed to set the path to the game and not the path to the steam workshop folder (34330) so it only loads the packs from the data folder but I could be wrong.

Using the Mod Manager, even the base game shows up as a mismatch, but it works when I use the Creative Assembly Launcher. This is a newer issue and makes the mod manager unusable. Just wanted to pass an update along.

Hey! Does anyone have a problem with using this mod manager and Rusted Pack File Manager (RPFM)? I tried creating a path to integrate the two programs so I could use the option to open mods with RPFM but nothing has worked.

Anyone have an issue in Coop where you have to change a mods load order for something to work but both people have exact mod lists and still miss matching? IDENTICAL lists, something to do with moving mod order around.

You added an auto update feature and I've been waiting for this for so long!

May need to run wh3mm.exe "as administrator" for the auto-update feature to work properly.

I can't play with my friends, the same versions, the same mods with the same versions, I shared the sequence of mods so that EVERYTHING would be the same, but still friends can't log in, the incompatible version writes.

Yeah ever since the new patch all my mods won't update, or say they've updated even though there hasn't been an update, if anyone can help me i'd appreciate it as I can't play modded anymore

since 6.3 and version 2.14.5 force redownload nad resubscription fail to work, had to manually delete all mods, to get updates.

This mod manager is compatible with other total war games but Shogun 2 seems to be missing from the list. Can you please add compatibility with it so we don't have to find another mod manager for it.

Does anyone know how to change the load order of more than one mod using this mod manager, at least for WH3? I've found that I can only change a single mod's load order to take priority higher up the list rather than being able to customize the position of multiple mods.

Today (9/4/2025) everything was running fine with my playlists and recent 6.3 patch, however once downloading MOD Manager Version: v2.14.5: 73 none of them are working I try to start a new campaign and I CTD to desktop every time. The only thing that changed between this morning and this afternoon was downloading the new version of the MOD Manager....

Any suggestions?

For some reason, the mod manager does not display activated and signed mods for Total War Saga: TROY It does not display any mods. All other games work, but not Troy.

Update 2.14.2 brought back the OS language bug.

This is the best mod manager for TW. I now only use it .
For some unknown reason, vanilla files are also shown in the manager along with the list of mods for the game Three Kingdoms (highlighted in red font lines in the pack names).

Is the conflict check function definitive? I mean, if it finds a conflict, is it definitely a problem or can these conflicts sometimes be benign?

Hi there, love the manager. The new language support option added in the latest update seems to automatically switch back to system language (German in my case) every time I launch the app, and doesn't remember me setting it to English.

Launching with this with no mods running in the list still causes the litttle white dot to pop in the bottom left corner and the game version states "modded". Hopefully that can be fixed. Great mod manager by the way.

Every time I open the mod manager it asks to download an update, it downloads then does nothing, then asks again. Is this how it works? Does it have to update after every update?

No matter what.... Incompat versions. The last 4 days we haven't been able to play despite having only radious on. tried with no mods but the moment any mod is on the game is incompat. makes no sense. The only bit of sense is old mates comment about this mod launcher confusing yours and your friends load orders. This is such BS and we have no idea what's happening

Excellent translation into russian . But for some reason, the pop-up window with text remained untranslated. "Mod order can only be changed in the Enabled Mods tab. List of tabs is located in the top-left of the window. You can also use the Ctrl+2 shortcut".

Press "continue" => start through CA launcher => close game => Press "Play" again => should not throw message
