how do you change a map theme, I want to make a city but turn it into a temperate theme.

Definitely enjoying this map, building a storyline out with it, and expanding our traffic infrastructure with the help of your assets as the towns on the map expand.

can you please make a map like this that does not require DLC content?

Anyone else getting a blue screen when attempting to create a new world with this map? I think it may have to do with some European assets, but I'm not too sure what that entails.

@trainerdave Original 81 tiles no longer works on any map. There is a new version available.

Deleted my original comment, realized this does not work with 81 Tiles mod. Is there another option to expand the map?

@Sapier NEx2 is incompatible with many current mods. Mass transit is extremely inexpensive when it goes on sale. Pick it up!

Yeah.. I get it, it'd be great if you could with network extensions but nonetheless thank you for the map, I always hated humongous highways for a countryside.

@Sapier The entire highway network is Mass Transit. I won't be replacing it.

Perhaps a version without the mass transit dlc?

Really addicting map gameplay style. Can't thank you enough YUMBL, and I wish more people would make maps like this one.

This map is like an addiction, once you try it you just can't go back to the standard stuff. Now if I want to play a different map I have to manually tear down the highways and replace them with this lol

@Sterben I only replaced to roads made by the original creator. No bridge height changes, no water level changes. Cruise ships simply dont belong on a rive and I would recommend using smaller vessels.

Also there is always ped traffic on the highways spawns on every map, as thats how the highways spawns work.

The map worked reasonably fine...
Points to consider;
Higher bridges, ships touch them,
More water in the rivers,
It seems that there is pedestrian traffic ON the highway exits you used at the map edges.

I love this map, and if you ever make more maps with minimalist highways I'm sure I'd love those to. Having so much smaller of a highway network just helps the city start feel so much more natural.

@yumbltv yes i have it, but its currently broken and i dont think the mod author has intentions to fix it

Hey Yumbl, it says that the mod "natural resources brush" is causing the error. I don't have it subscribed myself. Is it a requirement to load the map? thx and i really enjoy your stuff

@cejones6754 It's probably not the map. Did you update/change all the now conflicting mods for the newer versions after the major game update that recently happened?

This map isn't working for some reason. Lost my save. I tried to do a new city and I can't click anything. It wont let me build on the map at all.

Great idea, been looking for a map where I can make small towns instead of massive cities, great work. Made too many cities as it is a breath of fresh air.

Was not planning to buy mass transit until this map. More of this type should exist

This is by far, my favourite map! It opens an entirely new way of building a city. I made some modifications (81 tiles open, pre-placed water, sewer, and hydro power, modified a river to allow tuna and shellfish) and saved it as a starting point. Then I can start a small community with a single oil well, fishing dock, or tree farm. Let the community grow up around it a little, then start elsewhere on the map with another industry. So I end up with many small communities around the whole map that grow organically.

I have issue with all maps, that the highway connection is to big for small cities. Then comes you, all in white, and fix my issues getting me great fun. Thanks!

@Merrygate you should get it! Almost every small highway type road on this map is from that DLC.
