Well, I'll slog through it. Press F in chat for SpaceMoth who I'm going to be bothering all throughout the update lol
Since I can't even play Rimworld 1.4 because everything is breaking even for those trying to play on older versions to wait out the fuss.. I tried loading up 1.5 with just klickmala and hoo.. Yeah, I'm going to need to learn HAR's new stuff.
A fair amount has changed and I'm leaning over to look at SpaceMoth's page to see what he's been working on here an there. I'm waiting on HAR to kinda settle down. Played a couple colonies and included the Klickmala in my current one to try and see what's needing and not. I'm seeing a little of what the Moth was telling me regarding some changes here and there. Though, so far it looks like Klickmala seem to be in a relatively good place and stable. Either the body mod I'm using is changing things or I might need to go in and change the thorax positions a little I haven't had any children with the buggos yet to test, so I'm needing to do that. But I'm keeping an eye on what HAR is doing and noting some problems in the current builds that don't /seem/ to be hitting us yet.
The original Mod authors workshop page indicates that they didn't have any Lore associated with them, they just wanted scaley insect people and shark people. So they created them. They fit in nicely with the avian race and beast people mods.
regardless, this is very appreciated, and I really can't wait to have shark people in my game since sharks have been one of my special interests since I was very young, can't wait to have them commit war crimes and eat people whole with man mod.
The faction map art is done by SpaceMoth who I bothered near constantly with how-tos and 'why isn't this working?' and stuff (They knew they were added here but didn't talk, they do their own personal mods). There was a faction icon made for the Ikquan, but I will need to request it be resent and will convert it to svg for ease of use when I get it.
@Black Wood - If this is an image, put it on imgur, gyazo or something a little more known. I'm sorry, but I'm not following a link to a site I don't know. If I understand what you're saying, when you're using the faction I set up, the pawns disappear or are invisible? Problems do happen sometimes where the pawns don't spawn at the beginning of a mission.. Are one of these the problems you are describing?
It would be nice if it was fixed as it is a very cute species

In a game started like that, the starting pawn evaporates.
An error exists in the ideology selection window.
I want to provide it as an image, but I don't know where to send it, so I'm attaching a link.
The same bug exists even when using ideology after removing all mods.
However, there is no problem with using it as a faction.
It is not necessary either, it is what you want from them.
A good time to do so! Remember the permanently hostile group is set to 0 by default. They're a little down the list near the nudist and cannibal tribes because I was beating the faction, trying to figure out a bug (no pun) with them - They weren't spawning a leader and I couldn't force one via debug mod. I should have solved that, though.. Left them where they were, since they're not active by default.. Good to have them with the other couple.
Thanks for the suggestion, though! The other contributor (When they accept it) and I are using this and a few other things to learn and flex what we can do.
