Expe_you do realize this game if free aim correct? and that dot or no dot its totally preference? Maybe instead of whining just remove the dot. Otherwise go download another mod and leave this man alone.

The holosight sometimes randomly stops working in the middle of a round/match. Kobra always works. I'm using http://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=498271987 as a mod for the holosight. I have to restart my client for the holosight to start working again. Any thoughts? Thanks.

I'm sorry I can't help you, the game is temperamental when it comes to mods, they may come right in a day or so. Also maybe you should check if you have conflicting mods. Weapon skins or other texture mods may affect the crosshairs if the person who created the textures packed their files incorrectly.

sometimes when I spawn I am hip-holding the gun perfectly straight(like im aiming), and when I aim it just zooms in like counterstrike. Developer I took pictures please address the issue

Unfortunately there is something different about the texture files of the 2x scope, whenever I make a crosshair for it it comes out opaque black. I might have time to work it out at some point but I'm very new to the source engine, these crosshairs are the first thing I have edited :P

Ah okay, well thanks for improving them! I like the crosshairs a lot, I know it's not 'realistic' but meh, the standard crosshairs (specifically kobra) is too inaccurate for my liking at any sort of range.

Ok I might try to sharpen it up. Always trying to improve them :) As for the colour there is no change from the past versions because that is the default opacity for the texture, nothing I can do about it as much as I wish there was.

No issues with you testing things out, but personally I liked the original better than the new versions you've updated to.
They seem a bit less solid colored and "sharp" .. I'm not sure, just liked the original best is all, but no worries if you like this better.

Yeah i'm just testing things, there are problems with the way files are downloaded which means I can't test files when I have another uploaded on the workshop, I'm making them green again soon once I work out the best looking design.

Logged in today and found that the crosshair is now red. It still looks good but i much prefer green cuz too many games have nothing but red dot sights, and green is actually easier for the eye to pick up, so this mod has been AMAZING at improving my performance at long range. I'd much prefer to see it go back to green.

As for snow maps, it's a pain to make a really visible sight. I'm going to try a red version and see if it is any better although the way I have to make the sights, I cant make them any more opaque or darker on bright surfaces, they just tend to blend in.

Lazers are not accurate. I don't know what range it is zeroed to in game but it's only a general indication of where bullets will land. At least, this is how they work in reality. In insurgency I think if you are looking down the sights of your weapon, the bullets will be accurate according to the sights whereas the laser is accurate when hipfiring. I hope this answers your question :)

I realize the laser is affixed on the right side of the M14, but is the convergence that close?
The laser is not centered at 3 to 6 meters?
