shame this addon doesn't work if it's not installed as a workshop item, really wanted to add this a collection, other than that - it's made hard rain and swamp fever enjoyable.

i don't think it works with most workshop maps, but the admin can remove any water slowdown. could u make this mod act like a admin?

THIS, this is long over due. Well done, @Rise!!! this mod is something the Left 4 Dead community probably has wanted for years now. I wish I could show this mod and several others to WowSuchGaming and his buddies. I'm sure they'll love it! As do I.

Can confirm that this mod works flawlessly. Started up hard rain and ran around the third chapter loosing zero momentum whenever I hit the water. no conflicts with any of my other scripts or regular mods either. This is awesome! You're a freaking Legend.

Nice! It always bothered me that CI and maybe SI can run through water at full speed while survivors suffer this slow-down when in contact with water.
I don't know if the slow-down is necessary for some game balancing, but I just see it unfair that only survivors get slowed-down by water
