Installed the mod. Not sure why but NPCs don't have any buttons to click other than a gear that swaps it back to vanilla menu defeating the point of the mod.

idk if it was this mod or another mod, but i was unable to interact with npcs when this mod was enabled, it fixed itself when i deleted the mod, idk what happened :/

Fixed the mod quest fish causing exceptions issue

A bug I encountered, any time angler gives a quest with a fish from calamity (or presumably any non-vanilla quest fish) I get a big error message popup, this has only happened after installing the mod, and since the UI for it requires the quest fish to appear on the quest button, seems to be due to this mod

No, I was talking about how the bestiary has icons for the sky and underworld biomes - this is actually for something for a mod a friend of mine is working on and I was just curious if it was something you would be able to add support for, or if it is something we'd have to figure out ourselves.

Are you talking about NPCs from fargo's mod? Unfortunately the icons must be added by fargo because from a code level, the sky biome used by fargo for NPCs is created by itself without using the vanilla code, so there is no icon.

So, good news, the bug hasn't occurred since. Perhaps it was merely a fluke!

That said, a half-bug, half-compatibility thing I would like to bring to your attention is that NPCs who like/dislike the Sky or Underworld have no symbol on their panel - instead being a question mark. It'd be neat if you could add those!

are you willing to make a Mod Call for changing/offsetting the cog icon that swaps UI between vanilla and this? It's to help add compatibility for Dialect mod, which is a library mod that allows mods complete customization for town npc panels, including increasing the panel's width, which makes the cog icon cover text sometimes as it doesnt change position with the width

The custom buttons Dialect lets modders add also wouldn't show up in this mod, and I dont expect you to make them since that seems pretty impossible, so the cog icon is important to switch, though I wonder if you could somehow check if an npc is "supported" by Dialect and have this mod's UI disabled for them by default. You'd have to look at Dialect's code for that if you wanna do that, maybe I could ask the Dialect creator for a Mod Call that gets the List of supported npcs, since they do use a list

is there a list as to what mods are incompatible with this? it does not work for me, whenever i right click an npc my mouse and all dialogue buttons disappear till i leave the chat box.

Added a button displayed in the upper right corner of the dialogue panel to switch between vanilla and modded dialogue panels. you no longer have to go into the mod config and change the toggle every time.

i really love this mod, but i found out that the painters "decoration" button is not available when you talk to him, since i needed one of his paintings for fargos souls mod i had to turn the mod off so i could buy it form him. i hope the mod maker sees this comment and fixes this. no hate all love

I love this mod, but I did want to make a suggestion.

Suggestion: A button somewhere in the dialogue box (maybe hidden in a corner?) that opens the vanilla menu. This would be nice to have as a "failsafe" for NPCs that aren't fully supported; that way you don't have to go into the mod options and change the toggle every time.

Just found out that the button was added on 1.4.4. I didn't know that when I port the mod to 1.4.4 so the button was missing.

I don't remember that there's a "decor option" for painter. Buttons added by mods are not supported (unless modders add their compatibility via mod calls)
And there is an option in-game for you to switch to the vanilla version without disabling the mod . Just open mod config

It would be really neat if we could just have a button that opens the vanilla menu, I really love the mod, but sometimes some of the options are missing. It took me like an hour to realize that the painter was missing his decor option, at least I couldn't figure out how to access it without going back to the vanilla version.

The buttons seem to be invisible in stable 1.4.4 for me. In 1.4.3 the mod ran fine without issues and nothing changed about my mod list.

Its fixed. I was playing on 175% zoom hence why it was just black. When i zoomed out on 1.5.3 it was working fine.
