I think it would be nice if we could enable/disable the optiones of chest ownership and simultaneous access in multiplayer, as they are the most buggie features and I think the most atractive things of this mod (generally speaking) is the preview and the search bar rather than those.

@.kenni 🕊 That's strange. The Ownership system uses the player's name to determine who owns what chests so if there are no players with the same name then there has to be some bug. I'm gonna have to test some more. Thanks for the report!

I've noticed problems with the Chest Ownership. I've noticed a few times that my friends' chests were lured by me. I thought I did this by mistake, but yesterday there was a phenomenon that a friend had placed a fresh crate and it was directly lured by me. Likewise, yesterday I found a crate in an area where none of us had been and there was a crate that was also lured by someone from our party of 4. I haven't yet found out what this is connected to, but is there any way to fix it?

We need a chest option to give it unlimited space,and a mimic pet version that can travel with you

@Moldy maybe you have some filter on which hides it? I can't help you though.

I wish someone would make a really good mod - an increased number of slots for the chest. No, Magic Storage is garbage with a huge amount of unnecessary content.

Holding right click on a item in multiplayer if there is above about 35 causing duplication. This only happens to chests not in players inventory. frame skip is off, and is above 100 fps. one player one the server.

I would like to see a function where you can personalize chest so when you use quick stack it will not go into your friends chest.

@shyning yeah but sometimes your inventory is so cluttered with stuff after a trip of spelunking that you might miss some objects here and there. It's a hassle trying to mark each items you're planning on selling or storing elsewhere.

@Assburgers isn't this the vanilla behavior of "favorite" items?

Suggestion (if you're gonna update this): Add a toggleable "no quick stack" to prevent items being quick stacked into a chest. This is for purposes where you're using a chest as a "collectables" and don't wanna store duplicate unstackable items (i.e. weapons, armors, accessories) into that particular chest.

Could you add extra chests slots? like flipping pages in a chest. One chest can have more storage space.I prefer the native vanilla chest to the magic storage, but the only drawback is that there are too many chests in the later stage.

Super buggy, tends to duplicate or delete items, search feature is kinda fuckin jank, and in multiplayer it has endless problems.

I found a bug in multiplayer, if you click on "loot all" but press esc to close the chest when the confirmation button is up it will disable the "loot all" button from working for that session, it doesn't happen in single player though.

Would it be possible to add an option (off by default) to make filled chests destroyable by the player. Doing so would just dump the contents out around the chest before the chest itself is dropped.

There's already a couple of mods that do this, but neither have been updated to 1.4.4

Magic storage already has working 1.4.4 beta builds atm that will be available in tmodloader soon. If you want them now you can get them in the discord.

Magic Storage will be updated to 1.4.4. I think adding more slots is quite a hard thing to do, but I would need to look into it.

someone probably already suggested this but since Magic Storage probably won't be updating to 1.4.4 maybe add a feature similar to how you can have more slots in a chest. maybe by using a scroll feature or pages. Thanks for reading

If I use this mod with advanced world gen on a 16800 x 4800 world & hover my cursor over the left edge, it visually glitches a lot & doesn't let me place blocks.

A lot ppls say "oh use Magic Storage / Uses That" well, i`ll NO USE this, i dont wanna change my cute chest for a mod to use a lot new chests ...........
I just wanna have more space in my usually chests!

I hope it's fixed now. Note that you still have to open all chests once when entering a world in multiplayer because the server doesn't send that data to the clients when joining.

theres a issue that when multiplayer mode, the host player cant preview the items in chests unless the chests are opened
