100% and this turns into a rimworld rabies virus
Darian Stephens 7 aug @ 4:05
Could this be made to not affect androids from VRE - Androids?
I sent some out thinking they'd be safe, since no organic material to infect, but even though the didn't get the infection, they still went berserk from bites.
Velxra 23 jul @ 14:34
thanks for the update
riiswa  [skapare] 23 jul @ 14:11
Finally updated to 1.5, thanks to @Taggerung!

Velxra 20 jul @ 7:21
Please update for 1.5
Doomchibi 8 maj @ 16:32
Would this need an update for 1.5?
femoral2 25 feb @ 11:44
so much fun with this mod, I highly recommend it
Doomchibi 1 nov, 2023 @ 21:41
Also to add- I asked the author of the Silence! mod but figured I'd ask here too, would it be possible to make a pawn unable to bite when wearing either a scold's bridle or gag, possibly also if they are wearing some full face armor (maybe just stuff made of metal or wood)? I was thinking it would be interesting to down and imprison a pawn (or just trapping them in a room if imprisoning isn't possible...) that was infected with scaria and have the ability to prevent them from biting when they wake up? Maybe have mouth coverings degrade faster if they have scaria?
Doomchibi 1 nov, 2023 @ 21:29
Is the infection spread to full-blown scaria instantly or does it start off as an initial "infected" bite and have to reach full severity before the creature actually has scaria and goes berserk?
Gerewoatle 19 okt, 2023 @ 9:09
@CTH2004: It does effect humans, and you can adjust the chance of infection in the settings. Speaking from experience, it makes manhunters very, very scary.
CTH2004 19 okt, 2023 @ 8:48
Yikes...

Does this effect humans?
If not, it should (perhaps toggleable)
Born Of Birch 14 aug, 2023 @ 18:54
Love the mod
Kangarumpy 25 okt, 2022 @ 4:30
Anyone know if it desyncs in MP?
Velxra 21 okt, 2022 @ 17:03
Please update to 1.4
riiswa  [skapare] 21 okt, 2022 @ 5:50
I will try to update it before November :)
darksouls 10 okt, 2022 @ 9:39
1.4 pls
Cubenapé 31 maj, 2022 @ 5:07
Top !
Elth 5 apr, 2022 @ 7:07
Rabies.. nice
Bam4000 31 jan, 2022 @ 23:26
Will it infect humans?
RayBloodyPurchase 11 aug, 2021 @ 14:47
I personally think 75% was too high and turned it down to 25% after facing a couple manhunters. Overall though love the extra challenge.
Rocky Bukkake 2 aug, 2021 @ 21:50
1.2 version?
Endymion 30 jul, 2021 @ 8:30
If only scaria made animals attack other animals, then it could be a true plague
riiswa  [skapare] 29 jul, 2021 @ 4:02
@Mr Porter yes but only by bite.
Comrade Corwin 28 jul, 2021 @ 20:51
Are we trying to make scaria a zombie plague?
Symeon 28 jul, 2021 @ 17:34
Can the infection spread from pawn to pawn?
riiswa  [skapare] 28 jul, 2021 @ 14:12
Very good idea! I will think about it ;) @Burgerpants
Burgerpants 28 jul, 2021 @ 13:18
Ah yes, 28 Weeks Later. Any plans on having an event of infected people roaming into your colony?
budisourdog 28 jul, 2021 @ 4:47
Ah yes, another justification for the trenches, landmines, punji sticks, plasteel bunkers, RP40 Emplacements and chlorine gas / napalm automortar "defenses" we just installed.
riiswa  [skapare] 27 jul, 2021 @ 2:28
Both 😆
Gray Sanddragon 27 jul, 2021 @ 1:51
i will check it of course.. but do the bites only cause the berserk mental break or does it cause Scaria health condition too?
PetLoverSpy 25 jul, 2021 @ 13:22
Thank you!
riiswa  [skapare] 25 jul, 2021 @ 12:44
By default the risk is 75% to increase it must go to the right ;)
PetLoverSpy 25 jul, 2021 @ 12:12
Oh fantastic, I'm excited to make my pawns' lives even more hellish. Quick question: in the mod options there's a slider bar for the chances of infection, but it doesn't give any numbers. Which way is more and which way is less?
Zipzopdippidybopbop 25 jul, 2021 @ 11:34
Love it. Adds much more tension!
riiswa  [skapare] 25 jul, 2021 @ 5:31
All pawns, except Mechanoids
jupiterLILY 25 jul, 2021 @ 5:17
Does this affect pawns or just animals?
Lotus Elise 24 jul, 2021 @ 21:38
Cool
Lugaru 24 jul, 2021 @ 16:07
This is a terrible idea. I'm subscribing of course. Why do I keep adding mods that make things harder?!
riiswa  [skapare] 24 jul, 2021 @ 15:21
Thank you for this message, it is really motivating. Yes it is cureable, but quite expensive (3 regular medecine) https://rimworldwiki.com/wiki/Scaria
Dizzy Ioeuy 24 jul, 2021 @ 15:18
I forgot to ask, is it cureable? Like it's a basic infection following those rules? I hope so- going in with gloves on!
Dizzy Ioeuy 24 jul, 2021 @ 15:17
Oh man... I'm salivating for all the RIGHT reasons with this. Love it! You may have an ironic wholesome award! ;) :golden_llama:
riiswa  [skapare] 24 jul, 2021 @ 14:19
Yes and it can also lead to the mental status Berserk or Manhunter in the case of an animal :)
Dizzy Ioeuy 24 jul, 2021 @ 14:14
Great idea! So you have a chance of infection with any bite from a scaria creature? Right?
Spacemonkey 24 jul, 2021 @ 14:02
Love the idea :)
