I was doing the passenger car however the project kind of went off the rails (pun intended) when I started building my new PC and ripped my old machine apart to plug my old drives into the new one.

I was waiting for good Video cards to become available because of the lack of support most programs have now for the older AMD RX580 series cards I had and have just gotten a new RTX3090 and a couple of new 8TB drives recently. I'm in the process of installing these now.

But because of Christmas and now that I've been exposed to Covid during the holidays, things are back on hold until I find out if I've caught the damn virus or not.

That said and with the release of Blender 3.0, I'll need some time to to examine the new product, find out if the old project will port into it without problems and if the add-ons I use still work in the new version.

You're right, I know Jack about trains Oregon, trains are not something that is high on my primary interest chart.

I was messing with you, just to see what type of response I'd get and I got what I expected.
A passionate response from someone who has a very deep interest in trains. (To the point I think I'll start calling you "Sheldon" as in "Sheldon Cooper" from "Big Bang Theory". And I'm joking on this, so chill dude.)

Of course there was/is a car called a Baggage Car and a Combined Car as well.

There were/are many different types of cars as well like Mail, Dining, different types of Sleepers, Lounges, Observation, Livestock, Horse, Prisoner, Private, Hospital, Troop, Express, Trailer, Drover, open air passenger cars. And I'm merely naming a few here, but there are also many other types of "specialized commercial" type cars as well, to the point of specialized military type cars like portable Nuc transport/launcher type cars today (and Yes, they do exist!)

So, in fact, I actually do know somethings about trains. Might not be as much as you, but that's because (and again), trains are not high on my priority list of interests.

But Tone It Down so I can leave your comments here. Comments like what you did post here are important for factual referencing. Let's keep them to the point that they're here for young kids who have budding interests in trains can read them. I was disappointed that I had to delete them.

As a quick note, if you do do a search for "Rail Car Types", the info (less the Locomotive, Passenger and Tender cars) I posted is what you come up with. They are the current "freight" type cars on a line. Baggage, Passenger, and old time Tenders are not mentioned unless you do a specific search for that type of car.

There is no such thing as a Baggage Car (or Freight car for that matter.) This, my friend, is actually a BoxCar.

If you are such a fan of the rail system as you think you are, that is what you should have called me out on.

AutoRack, Boxcar, Caboose, Carriage (or coach or PassengerCar), Centerbeam, Covered Hopper, Coilcar, Flatcar, Gondola, Intermodal Equipment, Locomotive (or Engine), Refrigerated Boxcar (or Re-fer), OpenTop Hopper, Tankcar, Tender (or Coal/woodbox car) and Wellcar.

A lot of the names you see or hear (such as Freight and baggage) are what customers identified the cars as dependent on what they were carrying at the time they saw them.

If you want to get into this being a "Baggage Car" then when did the dynamite sticks they used to blow the linkage between the cars apart to separate them become "Baggage"?
