I have to make a choice here.
Stabby stabby, or shooty shooty. I choose shooty shooty.
"This was an improved twin-trigger version of the M1918. This model could provide both automatic fire and single shots. The furniture for the Bigrillo variant was, unlike the standard M1918, built from the ground-up and not recycled from the Vetterli rifle. The folding Carcano bayonet was also omitted in this model. This version was reportedly made at Manifattura Italiana d’Armi, or MIDA." - gun wiki
Assuming this is correct (which it very well might not be), the arcade version could potentially be realistic, with different furniture and no bayo
1- This project caters toward actual IRL details. So inadequacies for gameplay purpose would not find their way here. IRL, the sights were to the right side, not the left.
2- This is WW2, not WW1. And after WW2, the fully-automatic only nature was ditched for a semi-automatic only because reliability issues. Plus, why another SMG when a PCC that isn't a shoulder-fired pistol can be done?
3- If you want to go automatic, go crave for the Bigrillo model as it didn't seen any post-war conversion whatsoever. Even this, odds are it got short-lived because production had to be done from the ground up. And I don't think this project would ever accept a prototype that got only produced once " just because it exists ".
i really want a good mod for this weapon but it never happens, and the ones on the workshop are ok at best
