This asteroid and other layered sphere asteroids of better quality can be generated in singleplayer game using my Midspace's Admin helper commands mod.

With the following example chat command:
/createroidsphere mysphere 1000 1000 1000 1 uraninite_01 943
With the following example chat command:
/createroidsphere mysphere 1000 1000 1000 1 uraninite_01 500
I've had this happen to a few worlds that I've republished. For some reason SE gets the workshop Id from another world in my saves, and publishes the content there instead of the correct Id.
It doesn't matter though as I'm considering removing all these sphere asteroids, as you can now use SEToolbox to generate a sphere asteroid.
