The only way I found out to get rid of the red dots is to replace the weapon models manually. The session uses v_models which don't seem to work if you manually updated sfm. Replace them with the other models with the same weapon. Both models are virtually identical.

hey so there's these red dots that keep appearing and whenever i try to bake procedural bones on scout it keeps crashing do you know how to fix any of this?

Tank boi_ that's a known issue
the fix is to delete the hwm models from common/SourceFilmmaker/game/usermod/models/player/hwm
Make sure SFM is already closed so you don't have to rescan models, idk why this works but it worked for me.
