funny - I just checked both versions of EPOE, and I wonder whether they added this later because their number of days between berserk is the same as mine now 😂 so I don't think I need to make any changes!

I've just had a look at Forked, and it looks like it is editable in XML, but it's a bit more complicated than this one. I'd probably need to do a bit of testing to figure out the best way to go about it.

If there's an unofficial version, I'll check it out and swap over the dependency. this should work as-is in 1.4 I should think, I don't think they would have changed any of that.

That's a fair point. There's an unofficial update to the OG epoe, but I'm hoping the original dev either updates it, or passes it on to somebody officially.

EPOE hasn't updated yet. And I haven't used Forked, which has a different kind of persona core which I'm not certain if it can even be edited in XML

The persona core from EPOE forked does not cause mental breaks when it is properly tended. When badly tended, pawns get glitches which cause the mental breaks or ultimately a full AI takeover. They can get minor glitches even when the core is properly tended, but minor glitches only cause small stat debuffs if properly tended.
Honestly because of the great balancing like this I don't get why people still use regular EPOE. The forked one is so much better in every way.

Forked persona cores can definitely make a colonist go beserk, without high quality regular tending.

I had checked the forked version beforehand and it doesn't even seem like it adds any effects from the persona core, if it's even in that version.

Does this work with the forked version?
