Every game tick, I'm getting an event that duplicates itself and keeps coming back. I have enabled debug logging and it was revealed that the event id is eac_aw_dpl_actions.4

Is this event coming from any of the At War mods?

Ah nevermind, looks like it is plaguing others. Awesome work finding that guys! :)

Got ingame, started getting infinite popups. Empty, with only "OK" to click. Turned on tooltip debugging, and got "Event ID eac_aw_dpl_actions.4" What would the fix to this be?

@Ereck Dragonflame and Spiritouspath activate the console (default key is ~ right under the esc key) type in debugtooltip, hit enter and hover over the the blank event where it says ok.
what event id does it show for you?

been getting a constant bug where it spams a blank screen with an ok option, got a screen shot of it. seems to happen constantly when the game is progressing.

Bug Report - For some weirdness this mod is causing a repetitive blank in game notification pop up cant really figure out how to better describe it beside how i did.

@stelio Kontos ...or you could just look in the url for the mod. The first number is in the workshop url, and the second is in the url for the individual mod. This is true for all games with mods on steam.

For others who are having the same issue I am: The mod files themselves are stored in the workshop file, and the only reasonable way to find it is to open the \Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris\mod folder, use a text editor to view the .mod files, and then look through them to find the path for the particular mod you're looking for. THEN you'll put that path into the explorer and find your actual mod files among the maze of numbers that is the workshop folder.

@Stelio Kontos Go your at war defence platform longevity mod folder, then go into the events folder. in there open eac_aw_dpl_actions.txt and edit the lines that said "every_ship" into "every_ship_in_system"

@MagnusEffect - and anyone who can help - I cannot find the eac_aw_dpl_actions.txt file. I've unsubscribed, reloaded mods, resubscribed, reloaded mods, deleted the "events" folder and verified files, reinstalled stellaris, etc. and I'm still getting the blank popup that the debug window says is caused by this file AND I CAN'T FIND THE FILE.

Someone found a fix for the event window bug. Do you plan to update this for 3.0?

For anyone who would like to use this mod until the author updates it, you can fix the errors by opening up the eac_aw_dpl_actions.txt file in the events folder of the mod, and then changing the "every_ship" on lines 56 and 188 to "every_ship_in_system". That should fix the blank event window errors and allow the mod to function normally."

this is the one of the group that seems to be game breaking so far, likely that paradox edited a file that affected this mod, breaking it completely with the infinite box loop annoyance.

Just this At War mods seems to have issues with the new update. It's doing what Shoobers said. Disabling this one, the others work just fine.

This one definitely is bugged currently. Infinite event bug with only this and it's parent selected.

I realy hope all at war mods will get updated to Dick version. I used 2.6 continued with out issue till now. as this was updated for 2,8 I hope best chance get this continue is here.

My fleet committed suicide trying to recapture the heavily defended frontier after a Fallen Empire managed to conquer it, effectively ending the war. 10/10 for balance.
Tip: When you think your star base has enough defense platforms... double them, then double them some more

I believe the host only has control I'm not looking at the code but dadinator originally made these to play with his son so I'm pretty sure that's how it's setup

Check out the 2.6 page there's like 3-4 people in a row talking about it being bugged I know I had a bug with it but that was due to a mod that would run even if I had it disabled took me a while to figure that out

Out-of-the-loop, what bugs were people encountering? I was using the old one and I don't recall having issues...
