If you play Abyss mode and select the A and N runes you can basically make a NUKE WITH MORSHU'S BOMBS AND IT WAS SO FUNNY
this is a joke comment however i do like setting combos with morshu
Just hold right/left and taunt!
With most of the characters we like to reference the original game over the YTP stuff, but we still like to represent both! Besides, no harm done making Morshu do some funny stuff, haha.
Thank you, that means a lot! I'm glad to hear you like Morshu, and glad to hear you checked out the rest of the roster as well too, haha. They're all similar quality and all of them still receive updates!
More to look forward to in the future as well obviously, haha!
As for your feedback, I can consider some of it (although not much is planned for now). About FTilt and DAir though:
FTilt is pretty strong, but it does send you at angle 40/45, which is pretty standard. It shouldn't kill you too early, but even if it does then you should be sent pretty high up if you DI inward due to its angle. So you might not be DI'ing it correctly?
For DAir, challenging it can be a bit hard as you have to react somewhat quickly, but it is negatively disjointed since you can hit Morshu's legs and the grab hitbox only covers his stomach, so your character won't need any vertically disjointed moves to beat it. Attacks that move the character and can travel with an active hitbox can be a bit hard to challenge in particular though, so that may be why you're having trouble stopping it.
Take what I've said with a grain of salt--ive got plenty of it to give from trying to fight this guy. But overall, he's extremely well built and of amazing quality. Despite my complaints I'd absolutely recommend him to any workshop player. Excellently done.
It's a struggle to meet him in the air; he tends to take priority and suck you in during his belly flop. If you're below him then don't even try; most rivals can only attempt to dodge or reposition. I'm gonna chalk this up to being a strength for him, but it does make fighting back from below extremely difficult.
His side tilt feels overtuned; it often kills from the opposite side of the stage at middling %s, and fast fallers get it worst. The trajectory sends you very low very quickly and seems impossible to DI, leaving almost no chance of recovery. I'd go so far as to say it's genuinely overpowered as a tilt. Increase the vertical trajectory; it'd still have plenty of kill power but also wouldn't be nearly impossible for many rivals to recover from on the rare occasion it doesn't kill. (Ct'd)
Just wish skins could work normally
