@Freankh There are specific mods that break games and there are only few of such I ever used in TWW2.

I see, I see... but tell me seriously: Is it possible to play WH3 with mods? Was it possible in WH1 or WH2? Clearly, no way. It just breaks your savegames. I started 3 big campaings, all broken between round 50 - 200. What a shame! You cannot prevent the game from updating. So, in my oponion: WH2 is out. Since 3 month. It´s huge. I´d like to see some Orruk Warclans and Gloomspite Gits from Age of Sigmar. :-)

Hey. I wanted to teel, that there is a graphic glitch on a legendary lord, that is part of a mod: Morglum Necksnapper. He has 2 weapons, but he has 2 more weapons which are black, so 4 in all.

Now is the time for WH 2.... At least for as players, who use modes. No more broken savegames. YOu can either have mods, or Warhammer 3, but not both.

I am pretty sure the unit you mentioned should be covered in GREENSKINS PT 2, but in case its for some unreal reason - not, then no, I do not plan to comeback into TWW2 modding anytime soon.

Could you work on these "Scavenger" (like Gothic 1) savage orc riders, done by some mod. You know, what I mean? They look shitty.

Are you using DX11 or DX12? My performance is much worse in DX12.

@Freankh it's definetly not a videocard. Probably a CPU. I had a 8700k at the time I changed 16 gb of ram to 32 where I saw a nice perfomance boost on campaign map. If you're really interested in what causing such perfomance looking at 6700 vs 8700k tests in TWW2 campaign map may be a way to go.

Btw I hope the ram you got is not locked at something like 2666 which is I think would be a waste of money for sure! New Ram sticks are not that great according to few tests I've seen, yet the oldies still do the job.

Dual channel mode? Yes. That´s only for speed, not for RAM usage or amount.

I decided to buy another 16GB RAM. But I do not see a benefit. The game itself uses all the 11GB of my 1080ti, but it uses just 5,5 GB of RAM on my 32 GB setup.

@Freankh I think it's just the way game engine works, you know original models would not have low resolution on campaign map at first place if it did not hit perfomance. Through once I moved to 32 GB of RAM I noticed a really nice perfomance boost on campaign map with similar to yours PC setup. You may test how would things work for you with mod reducing amount of heroes AI uses it should help perfomance; yet if that perfomance hit you notice happends to you at the very beggining of campaing then I doubt it would help. In that case the only way to go is to downgrade some textures, for example the one for faces or preferably weapons since you barely look at these on campaing map.

Thanks. Thank you for your work and effort. No, I was alwas talking about campaign map. I did not do any manual battles in these days. But the impact on the campaign map was huge, and that´s irritating, because there is very little benefit, only in the portraits and the heros on the map. And no, I am using a NVMe SSD. Have 16 GB Ram. (There is a blood performace mod here.)

@Freankh if you install and use 2-6 of these mods you REALLY should not have any perfomance impact unless you're on HDD which is a disaster. If you have 20 FPS on campaign map with your videocard could be a small amount of RAM you got there or something. Back in the day I had GTX 1070 and I had around 8 mods of mine installed + 16 gb of ram and it resulted me similar FPS on campaign map. But in battles YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE VISIBLE PERFOMANCE IMPACT and if you do, it's mostly something on your side. Some people always say BLOOD kills perfomance for them but it never fucked my experience as much as they describe, so something things are unique down there. Just like the shapes of our cocks . . .

And if I activate them, I can play the game with 20fps on my 1080ti. I think, you´ve overdone it. My mods folder is 90 GB! (The game itself has 64 GB.)

Your mod is nice, but it´s the biggest danger to the game ever. Normal, the publisher destroys the savegames and all progress, by doing an update. Ok, I know, I cannot install a unit mod, and deistall it afterwards, hoping no other faction recruited these units. But YOUR mod, is graphical mod. But anyway, it destroys savegame. Once again, after I de-installed Dwarfes HD, all savegame are finito. Game tells me "Beards_HD" are missing. Makes no fucking sense.

And now there it is: My savegames can´t load anymore. Missing mod "HairyAssesHD". WTF?

@Freankh I never recommended using all of them together at first place. Use only these you find the most needed. Like Empire HD + Greenskins HD. I personally never go for 10+ of my HD mods used at the same campaign. And in the end when there is no race X left on the map you may turn that HD mod off and start using another one.

Yeah, but with all the mods, the game breaks down anyway. When I check "unlimited memory", first the framerate breaks, and sooner or later, the game just ends, system memory overflood with 16 GB.And I guess, a 1080ti 11GB is pretty optimal for that game. I play in 4k, of course.

Hi. I downloaded all of those mods. My game tells me, texture & shadow quality have been set to medium automaticly, due "to limited memory". I have a Geforce 1080ti, 11GB.

I found the bug that Josh Fardreamer reported. It affects the texture grn_wolf_01_normal.dds, if you delete it, the wolf will be displayed correctly again.

Unless something is broken there is no need for update.
