Really hoping for an update on this one. It's the best immortality mod by far for me.

With all dlcs, this doesnt work with the latest DLC and patch. There is one 'Immortality' entry in the decisions, you click Yes to activate it, and nothing happens. You don't become immortal or get the trait, the immortality's other options don't appear. (like choosing an age etc, or the immortality being hereditary, or sterile etc).

Will this mod be updated, or maybe a GitHub page linked so someone else can carry it on? It's causing my game to crash. It's kind of a lynchpin mod for my current playthrough and I've been unable to play the game for quite some time as a result.

I have enjoyed this mod for some time. But when i came to it lately it appears to crash the game. Will it be updated?

It would be awesome if gaining immortality gave access to fabled items. ( Holy Grail, Shroud of Christ, etc.) But otherwise a great mod, and coupled with a cheat menu makes me a God among men.

After researching, I came to a conclusion that it's this mod that crashes the game randomly. Can I ask for update?

How to get rid of male balding pattern:

Go to \Steam\steamapps\common\Crusader Kings III\game\common\genes and look for the file "09_genes_special_misc" and edit it via notepad.

Look for:

> shaved_baldness
index = 1
> baldness_stage_1
index = 2
> baldness_stage_2
index = 3

And edit all the three indexes to 0 (index = 0)

This will remove all the balding patterns from all your males in your game.
The balding pattern feature was added from the CK3 1.12.1 Scythe update and is not a bug or feature coming from this mod.

Still works fine, and restore cures everything, even grows limbs back.

Working fine for me. Not tested if restore cures plagues though.

Still works for me. Launcher says its outdated but given that it just adds a trait and doesn't affect any new core mechanics it should work with most mods.

This thing throws errors about a bad scope when checking for immortality age. Please fix.

Like Dnomyar96 I have isolated it to just this mod. There's a scope issue reported upon CTD within the immortality event script. The specific error may well just be a red herring. But there's something wonky happening within that script.

@Nylem I have no other mods at all, so it's definitely a problem with the mod...

@Dnomyar96. No, it means you have a mod conflict. The fact it does not crash at all for me with my mod list means its not this by itself. If it was this mod then no-one would be able to play with it.

@Nylem Look through the comments. There are people that are having crashes caused by this mod (me included). Just because it works for you, doesn't mean there aren't problems.

This is awesome. Except for the fact that my 15 kids had tons of kids and now 120 years later when I finally died, my heir is now facing hundreds of immortal minions who work on behalf of my enemies. Oops. Need a good plague to wipe them all out.

This mod is fantastic if you want to OP yourself and dominate the known world throughout the ages.

I'm having the same problem as ParadoxAngel. This mod seems to crash the game a few months into the game with this error: "Error: has_variable trigger [ This scope doesn't support variables. Scope: Byorte Lowborn of (Internal ID 16780272) weak (Character - 16780272)! ]

Hi YeshuaAgapao. The Warcraft mod has updated finally but it's crashing with this mod again (your mod works fine on vanilla/base ck3 though). Last time you suggested deleting the character interactions folder in the WoW folder which did the trick but it's not working this time. Any idea how to make them compatible again? Thanks again for this invaluable mod.

Why are people asking for updates? This is working perfectly fine. I'm 350 years into a game with zero crashes. If you're crashing it's likely a mod conflict on a non updated mod and not this.

Do we have an update ETA? If it takes a while that's fine, but as with previous posters I don't like to play without this functionality. So to know when to come back would be great. <3

I'm not 100% sure this mod is the cause of my crashes but the error log reports in its last line as follows:

Ps: whoever "Kaya Lowborn of" is is not a character I've granted the immortality trait
