It seems to work fine by just adding 1.5 on About.xml.

This has 1.4 assemblies, so it probably needs to be updated or won't work.

@M The difference from vanilla is that it displays the description of the faction, not just the name. This is helpful if you have tons of factions on the map and can't remember which randomly generated name applies to which faction.

What are people talking about with not in vanilla you ALREADY can see what faction each base belong to hahahah however a setting for this without the extra click to display would be fun too thank :D

Tbh, this should 100% be in vanilla. I hope they include this functionality in patch 1.5 or so.
But thank you so very much for this mod in the meantime!

@Velxra, this fixes your "issue". Please don't go around asking modders for updates; it's hard to not be aware when Rimworld gets an update and being asked for updates can be extremely frustrating.

@dninemfive Just tested it without my regular modded hell ( as some i need haven't been updated yet ), So for just base game + dlc it works fine as far as i can see, no red errors in my case at the very least

What about a mod that changes the world map factions colors based on their feelings towards the player? If they're friendly ... why do they have a red colored icon? Red colors are hostile and cool colors are friendlies.

Thank the lord. Every time I read that vanilla description when I see an icon I don't recognize I literally go "Oh ♥♥♥♥ off that's worthless" so I'm glad somebody fixed it.
