It was a good Jeff level, but I thought that the gimmick of having companions would be the central focus. It's still worth playing though.

Overall a good map but felt a bit annoying sometimes with the tight spaces. It also ran poorly sometimes. I also feel like the gimmick of having companions is underused... I'd give it a 7/10

Also, if I may make a suggestion - there's just not enough maps with friendly Combine NPCs. I want to 10-91d with da bois. Would be great if you could make more Combine squad maps!

@Combine Ordinal I tried implying that he got headcrabbed and you kill him later in the level. Ultimately this beat fails to hit the mark since you just escaped a high intensity section with Jeff, so most players fail to realize it was him. I'd love to expand upon his death more when I make the full remaster

I managed to break the map: If you solve the electrical puzzle in the final section first, then go and put the energy crystal in place and immediately turn the power back on, Jeff will come towards the spot where he would normally die in the sparks, but just stand in front of them and stay there, forever, essentially soft-locking the player.

Oh my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ god I was just thinking about the phrase goon squad randomly today and I couldn't figure out why (Completely forgot this mod existed btw) and literally moments later I got a notification on steam for a new comment on this mod. My jaw actually dropped as I saw that.

Totally want to address this if I ever do a remake! The squad is cool in concept but in this addon you only wind up opening doors or leading them to enemies they can shoot, and there's a lot of missed opportunity with your squad slowly being picked off by Jeff that I didn't take advantage of back then.

This map was ABSOLUTELY amazing. If you like puzzles, and Jeff levels, try this one out. Not too much fighting, but still a little. Although it was short, I enjoyed every bit of it. Nice to see what you did with bricks, as well.
