@marcika Én feliratkoztam erre itt, majd elindítottam az eredeti CS:GO-t a főmenüig, hogy letöltse, utána átmásoltam a pályát Garry's Mod-ba, ahol szépen működik "Sandbox" módban. ;)

@-Duck- This map is somewhat demanding despite its size, because of the high level of details, I copied this mod over into Gmod and I have quite low fps on this map in sandbox mode.

this is the only map I have ever seen in the history of counter strike with a proper, real train and not someone's idea of what a train is

I hope this will be ported to CS2 eventually. Valve even has tools for porting.

@Alexmiskolc Nope, it's for the good old CS:S only. I don't know if the new CS2 can use old maps or not (probably not).

@r.man MMV Yes, "cs_mbp_pro" is one of my favourite maps ever, because I lived in Budapest until the late 2010's and I been there so many times in real life while travelling from A to B. 🙂
[Later...] I copied the map manually from CS:GO to Gmod (I don't play CS:GO). The performance is noticeably worse than the old 2020 version, ~1-5 fps! 😐

This map is nothing more or less than my description states above. I like the "fictive additions" and "CS stuffs" as much as -if not more- than only mimicking reality. I think these additions are the best ones yet! :steamthumbsup:

The original, yes, what I made to test my skills and ambitions 13 yrs ago for CS:S. [gamebanana.com] 'cs_mbp_pro' was made not long after the first one, because the internet was slower at that time and there was no steam workshop to provide fast and convenient subscription based downloading.

@r.man MMV The areas on the 5ᵗʰ and 6ᵗʰ screenshots are fictive additions, other than that this map contains the station of the M3 line well enough ‒ except the additional CS stuffs, such as crates, barricades, forklift.
But the original cs_mbp_pro map is the full time-capsule from 2005, especially after the M3 line's modernisation renovation, which means the line looks completely different now! 🙂

Well, ultimately, the time-capsule role will be the task for the original Metro Budapest map for CS:S, rather than this one... as i foreshadowed it here, back in 2020.

@Enrico Dandolo of Venice ℹ️ Did you know? The real life place no longer looks like this, because it got renovated and got modern style. So, this map is "archiving" the old look of this place.

@conneath Yeah, I think cs_metrobudapest is the most realistic map I've ever seen! Old, but definitely one of the best maps forever! Actually, I copied the map into Gmod and I play it there in sandbox gamemode. 😊

i still play the original map and fightyard version to this day, ever since i discovered it on gamebanana in 2014, great map that had a lot of details

A 2005-ös eredeti verziót bemásolam Gmod-ba, hihetetlenül jól visszaadja a hely akkori hangulatát még így játékon keresztül is! 👍 Talán az egyik legélethűbb pálya amit valaha láttam! 👍
