this mod is called "alternative scar sounds. One might think it would replace the sounds used by the scar rifle.

No it does not replace the sounds of the AK, it replaces the sounds of the scar
No matter what you do with a model that looks like a scar, this mod will always replace the sounds of the three bullet burst assault rifle named scar
