its marked as npc because the apc is technicaly an npc in some hl2 levels.

Kinda stupid to get mad because it's marked NPC. It's a replacement for the APC model.

If you have Half Life Entities addon that has the NPC replacement, then you can spawn it and have a working APC that can attack you and you can destroy
